Sony’s funding is probably contingent on kickstarter goals and the level of interest they can objectively gauge that way. And also to shave off costs, nobody wants to commit to these games fully, even with Yakuza Sega was too cheap to bother translating and localizing, and if you play Yakuza you can see how Sega cut

I remember reading a user review of. GTA 3 back in 01-02 that said it was like Shenmue with cars and guns. That’s how ahead of the curve Shenmue was.

The kickstarter said that one of the tiers was to produce short recap films.

It’s probably gonna happen, there’s no reason not to bolster sales of the third game while also making money on the ports themselves)Maybe the reason they weren't ported all this time was because they didn't want new audiences to feel trolled by the cliffhangers

People who cared found a way to play both. Piracy, emulators, etc. There were even mods that imported the Xbox English dub to the dreamcast version of Shenmue II (some people REALLY didn’t want to play it on Xbox) and vice versa (Dreamcast Japanese dub modded in to the Xbox port)

The video on kickstarter confirmed 3 locations in China, probably villages. The footage shows wilderness walking. The small budget (probably 10 million all in all, tops) makes me think the game won’t take place in largely populated major cities like Yokosuka and Hong Kong, focusing on the wilderness and small villages

fuck jerry seinfeld he was never funny.

Fuck Marky Mark

not as funny as 50 cent’s reason for backing Hilary over Obama in the ‘08 primaries.

there’s a depressing lack of content outside the main storyline aside from the UFO thing. the freaks and strangers missions weren’t worth the trouble of driving to the map marker.

well it’s not about owning the car, or even the gas, the issue is they aren’t paid a base salary either, just a small cut of each fare. kind of shitty given that they work long hours every day, they should at least be guaranteed not to lose money. it didn’t seem like most of the drivers wanted to stay too long, aside

i wouldn’t call it a supercity, it’s a cute little downtown area that’s much, much smaller than that of a major city, surrounded by a sprawl of effectively distinct, separate suburb towns. it’s not like how Evanston could be considered part of Chicago. it’s not like how Aurora is part of Denver. it’s a really junior

no one cares about KCK except people unfortunate enough to live there though

ironically, the biggest cab company in the Kansas town i lived in before hired their drivers as contractors. the drivers were paying their own gas- they had to return the company cab with a full tank every night. if there was a no show, it came out of the driver’s pocket, essentially.

i was mostly being rhetorical about the WWE being fair- it seems to be run by a Game of Thrones style marriage-succession alliance, and they’re definitely some weird people.

even WWE pushes people based on ability. Pacquiao has been on his farewell tour for at least 2 years, if Mayweather was an undefeated champ he should’ve gotten a tougher fight like Danny Garcia, Lamont Peterson or even Amir Khan.

Floyd could use his fight footage in court to try and convince them to downgrade the severity of his next assault charge based on his evident inability to land a damaging hit.

hey now, bigfoot was in GTA V ;)

Garry’s mod is already being sold for money, if people want to monetize their mods, let them make a product people are willing to pay for and put it on Steam.

that’s just all kinds of fucked up. well whatever, this guy can join Deepak Chopra and what’s his face the millionaire from Silicon Valley to form the Trinity of Supremely Douchey Indian Dudes in Public Life.
