Yeah, while I was pulling my hair out over GF's interface on my PC I might have criticized it for being console-centric if I even knew that term yet at the time.

DotT is one of the few games ever to use time travel effectively, and it's ridiculous fun too.
And yeah, I kind of got used to the GF interface (the game is totally worth it), but if anything needs an overhaul in that game, it's that.

Full Throttle is pretty much perfect like it is, though a Windows port would be nice for those who don't want to mess around with ScummVM and such; and of course higher resolution graphics would be a treat. But, as long as it's Schafer, I'd be more interested in a sequel. Another Day of the Tentacle would be fun too.

Monologuing, it gets 'em every time.

I've been using that - occasionally - to hang up on people for years.

I saw it there in 68 as well, begged my dad for weeks (me=geek him=not). While I still lived in L.A. I loved the revival showings once a decade or so at the Dome - last time in 2001. The town I live in now doesn't have a movie theater, I got the Blu Ray, but it's not the same.

And check out Gophter's quit-in-disgust rant at episode 8. I'd decided by e2 that this Thief was but a pale, console hobbled, imitation of the classics, By a few hours in, he's beyond disappointed, he's outright angry.

Let me fix that headline for you:

No, that's what it's always meant.

It means The Master needs Quietus®.

Dressed like a kangaroo (Ice-T, not the dolphin).

I had a lot of fun with the equivalent mod for FNV. Character roulette. Whip up a character and see how long I could survive; lather, rinse, repeat. A great reminder that it's a role playing game.

Bethesda obviously puts a lot of work in those tutorials and can by all rights be proud of them; but considering the kind of repeat play their games encourage it's puzzling to me why they don't anticipate someone might not want to see it every damn time and provide some sort of bypass or alternative start. Oh, well,…

Put him in the comfy chair!

Who was?

12 year old me loved that show. I must revisit it someday.

I would add 'edible ball bearings'. I'd forgotten pretty much everything about the episode - on purpose probably - save 'edible ball bearings'.

Did you try Lowe's?

You've been reading my mind.

It's a lot like 'Sons of Mogh'. Can destroying the village really save it?
