I’ve seen it happen enough. It truly is disturbing. Fuck ducks. haha

Counterpoint: Feed the ducks all the bread you want, because ducks SUCK.

I’ve lived in Japan for almost 10 years now, and there are so many things to take note, honestly. You did a really good job in this video with Michael, so kudos for that.

My question is exactly the same as BlahBlahBlahXXX. Does that mean this year, 2019, will be recognized as Heisei 30, Reiwa 1, or both? For taxes and city paperwork, this is going to be annoying. haha.

Hey, Brian. Just out of curiosity, since this is the first era change for me since living in Japan, when exactly does the era start? Does it start May 1? Or will 令和1 start January 1?

I know the prior years for 平成 changed at the beginning of the year, but since this is happening now, just curious when exactly it takes

Brian, fantastic write-up! We just got a few new coworkers from the US, and this is very timely. I’ll definitely be sharing this with them!

It could still line up, because if the graphics and framerate were struggling and the higher-ups just weren’t satisfied with the direction, the prospect of giving a new team with experience more power to work with would make a lot of sense.

Some of this lines up with other things, like Metroid Prime 4's delay. I wonder if the original Switch just couldn’t quite cut it, so Nintendo needed something a little more powerful. It might even be the first “New Switch” exclusive.

*Raises hand*

I also buy physical when the option is available.

Now, Microsoft. Hear me out. There are these rumors about Microsoft Live coming to Nintendo Switch, and if it’s true, I would be oh so happy. Now, umm. Yeah. This Master Chief Collection + Halo: Reach... if it also happen to come to Nintendo Switch... I would just throw my wallet at you.

Brian! Dude! Cornelius is one of my favorite Japanese artists. Can’t believe you posted this. I have listened to Fantasma more times than I can count. Picked it up back in high school in 1998, special ordered. I hadn’t even been to Japan before, or even had much of an interest in the country or culture. But a friend

This is a tough one for me. Although I know this doesn’t affect where I live (At least, I don’t think so. haha), I’ve learned of SO many places around me in Tokyo that I would have otherwise not learned about had it not been for Pokemon Go.

Dude. I noticed all of that too! This is exactly what Nintendo needed to announce for Mario Maker 2. It was amazing! All the little additions are going to make the online community SPECTACULAR, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this.

I’d like to throw LINE into the mix. It’s incredibly popular here in Japan for a reason, because it is really good and provides tons of options. It makes mass majority of its profits from selling “stickers” (stamps) and themes, which allows most people to enjoy the app free of charge and every equally benefits from

Your context may be different, but in Japan, Switches just keep selling. They are basically the new 3DS. If Nintendo released an XL model or a purely handheld model, it would probably sell even more. haha.

The ones that get me are the following;

I also am not big on peripherals, but Stephen, please, let me implore you, the FlipGrip is BRILLIANT for top-down shooters. I played Ikaruga on the go with the FlipGrip recently, and it blew my mind how awesome it was to play and how comfortable it was with the accessory.

Take your time, is all I can say. It really is a great story! Great characters and development, and the last couple missions are crazy (Main story missions, not the epilogue, which is also quite good in its own right).

Well aren’t you a thrill!

Agreed! For some people, the winter is just not that bad, and for me, I often only wear two layers in the winter, where I take off my jacket quite frequently because I get too hot. I definitely wear t-shirts outside in the snow some time and have even skied in a t-shirt as well.
