Most of the world finds English to be extremely difficult for various reasons. The only real difficult point of Japanese is the writing, particularly kanji. The structure, grammar, and conjugation are all quite simple and don’t require an insane amount of study, hence why Japanese gradeschool students use an insane

It sure felt like Suda 51 to me. Sure, it’s not a No More Heroes or Killer7 kind of feel, but it has that over-the-top nature that he’s renowned for. This is much more in line with games like Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw, which have more realistic aspects but still exist in an insane world.

C’mon dawg. Get it right. World of Warcraft < Universe of Starcraft < Underworld of Diablocraft.

Exactly the same here. I’m just not interested in the ancient fantasy world of Warcraft, but I LOVE sci-fi, and I would be all over a Starcraft-based MMO. That would be so fun!

Well, Warcraft did start as an RTS, and it was really good. Warcraft and Starcraft worked side-by-side for years, and were/are both fantastic games. I know having two MMOs out at the same time is risky, but in the grand scheme of things, a “Universe of Starcraft” model has so much more potential as an MMO than WoW

But there’s so much more they could do in a Starcraft MMO. Like traveling to different planets, meeting new species and civilizations, having to adapt to different cultures and currencies. That last part especially could net them SO much money, since each planet runs on their own money, the money received can only

So, seriously, when is Universe of Starcraft coming out? I mean, it writes itself at this point. If WoW is still doing this great, imagine how an MMO of Starcraft would do? C’mon, Blizzard. Make it so!

I always wondered how they replaced cabinets! Especially in areas where the arcades are 5+ stories high. This is awesome! I would love to see this in action personally, but I’m sure they are going it at like 4am or so. haha

Have you never watched the Joker in any animations or seen him in comics? Ledger’s Joker is insanely different looking than the standard-image, which was my point... A WHOLE YEAR AGO.

So you cut your teeth on games like Contra? Kid Icarus? Ghouls and Ghosts? Metroid? Super Mario Bros? Have you even cleared Super Mario Bros? Because if you find Guacamelee’s platforming hard, I highly doubt you’ve beaten an original like Super Mario Bros.

Offensive? I didn’t find it that hard at all, honestly. I think the challenge level was just right, and it really made you get used to the controls and game style. Upon doing so, challenges and activities became more second nature. Guacamelee is one of my favorite indie game of the past decade, especially for the art

There’s a ton of stuff to do! With the kids, there are a ton of great mini-golf courses to play, including my favorite one, Mt Atlanticus. It’s across from what used to be the old Pavilion area, which is right next to the boulevard. There’s a bunch of cool stuff that way as well, including tons of shops, a few rides,

East coast, BEAST coast! Sorry. From Myrtle Beach, SC, so had to say that. haha.

I’m honestly not seeing it. For crying out loud, she’s from Mississippi. I was born and grew up in South Carolina, and I had a very similar outlook for most of my life. She’s exactly right in, “It wasn’t how I was raised.” How can you hold that against her?

Oh, thank you Jango for posting this. Truest statement in years.

I was referring to the normal game. But yes, New Game+ kicks your ass. haha

The amount of secrets alone make this such a joy to play! All of the gold tokens, monoliths, keys, guns, and outfits to find are bountiful. I haven’t had this much fun collecting since... well... old 2D Zelda games, particularly A Link to the Past.

Agreed. And I have noticed that preference plays a huge part. I’m very nostalgic in my gaming, and I have been adoring the likes of Shovel Knight, N++, and Hyper Light Drifter as new games feeding an old style. I grew up with the likes of the NES and SNES, and those brutal action/platformers are what trained me. By

Precisely. And the nice thing in HLD is that nothing can kill you in one hit, unlike Dark Souls. HLD is definitely still a hard game, there’s no denying that, but it doesn’t stay that hard for the completion of the game. It’s one of the very rare occurrences in games where it got easier as I played. haha

We just must be skilled at different game types, because I die like an average of 30 times per boss in Dark Souls, whereas I only died an average of 5 times on the last handful of bosses in HLD (There are 8 total, that I’m aware of).
