If anyone's interested, Chrome has an extension called "QR-Code Tag Extension" that shows you the QR code for any website you're on with one click, with the option to save the image to disk or post to Facebook. Works great for quickly copying a link to your phone.

@jupiterthunder: Yeah, but transcribing something from text (as in actual paper) to the internet is a long, slow process. Assuming he doesn't have OCR, in which case, it's still cheaper to outsource to someone than buy OCR software.
