Well, incidentals aside: the campus security force at the university I teach at is municipal police. So, yeah, sometimes they are.

Let’s, because she is a fucking goddess who can wear the shit out of any wardrobe, including pants that are like 17 inches too long.

Well that’s just basic trickle-down sexual economics, my friend. Obviously no women think they’ve been raped enough to rape men and pass the buck along. That’s how 80s economics works, right?

I think the drag queen Trixie Mattel has the best canned response to that: “Oh, cool, where are you from that you just yell things at strangers?”

Only a child thinks “the rules” are inherently just simply by virtue of being the rules.

So I saw Aimee Mann and Ted Leo in Chicago a couple of years ago, and as Aimee was trying to start “Save Me” some drunk girl kept shouting “YAAASSSSSSSS” at the top of her lungs in this low-key wine bar. And would not stop. Eventually had to be escorted out by security. Like, secretly, I agree, but “Save Me” is not

Ah, but you see, football brings in money! Ensuring justice doesn’t. (Only, unfortunately, about 1/4 sarcastic.)

In many cases, especially with large universities, campus security ARE the police; local police forces have special units to police universities. I don’t know if that’s the case at Maryland, but there’s a pretty common complicity between large universities and official police forces.

(Which is bonkers, as I’m pretty sure condoms actually retail for less than that.) I was president of the LGBTQ student

I would really like it if somebody finally looked Scottie Hughes dead in the eyes and said, “Are you aware that you’re a delusional sociopath, or is that diagnosis need to you?”

“The rules”? Are you actually 13 years old?

Thank god, but also: good christ, why are people who think that solitary confinement is an appropriate response (“punishment,” cuz yeah) to a suicide attempt in charge of prisons? Abolition democracy, please.

To be fair, we really should hear more about pussies. Just in respectful terms.

Oh I got it.

The person in them.

I had never heard of this phenomenon until now--sounds completely fascinating!

bish plz. If anyone thinks that someone making a specific reference to a specific song that a specific very famous person wrote in a post about that person is “the problem” just because that person happens to be black, they need to read more news.

My stupid what?

Are you assuming I’m white?

Oh absolutely.
