Am I the only person who is able to tell whether dishes are dirty or clean just by looking at them? My roommates are constantly asking if the dishes are dirty or clean, but it always seems painfully obvious.

Typically they do it on a short time frame and throw a full slab of meat into the sous vide. You can easily screw it up by trying to cook a full roast in 3 hours. Just misunderstanding of the method while attempting to cook at a high level.

I wonder if I have high expectations, or just a bad experience. I tried one of the newer well rated powerline kits last month to extend my wifi in my mostly brick house. It worked, but the throughput was about 1/5 of just using my wireless extender approaching the edge of my primary wifi range. I suppose it could be

Durant was clearly submitting his resume to the Lakers to take Kobe’s spot.

I’ve been on the Nook boat from the beginning, but I just don’t like the Glowlight Plus. It’s uncomfortable for me to hold with the way the metal casing just ends in a sharp ridge. I returned it after a couple days. My old Glowlight took a beating on a beach trip last year and needs replacing. Amazon apparently

Seconded on the audiobooks. I had an hour commute in traffic each way for nearly 4 years. Only in the last year did I discover audiobooks, and what a difference it made.

Well, I would certainly avoid going to Belgium and ordering something I can get in the States. There is simply too much good beer in the world to limit yourself in that fashion. But point taken, and thanks for the info!

I appreciate the wording of the headline. Nothing infuriates me more than a “You’ve been doing this wrong all your life” headline. You don’t know me, headline!

Spatchcocked chicken for the win. Use a broiler pan and throw some potatoes and vegetables under the chicken and you (might) not miss the stuffing. It’s my go to when I need a meal that tastes like I put a lot of effort in, and I don’t have that kind of time. 10-15 minutes prep, 40 or so in the oven.

I’d like to point out that the cost estimates look to omit equipment charges. And those add up. I have a basic cable plan because Verizon pretty much throws it at you with Fios (same price to get basic cable + HBO + internet as just internet). But the box is $12 a month. Anything more than a basic box and things

Sorry, I tried to balance the editorial correction with the desire to not overshadow the seriousness of the article. I was just trying to point out the phrasing issue. The added comma corrected it.

“other studies that find women are generally paid between 75-80 cents per dollar less than men”

It took me a while to realize the Ultrawide was in reference to the monitor and not the desk. The desk is a fine looking piece of wood, but it certainly isn’t particularly wide.

Oh that is brilliant, and I love the idea. The DC one just feels slightly too busy for me. I’ll probably stew on it for a few days and buy one unless I forget about it.

I was not aware that this was not common knowledge. Now I feel as though I have been depriving the world by not sharing this information.

No Blizzard game (as far as I am aware - I havent been in WoW since I got this monitor) supports 21:9. For e-sport type games, I understand it. For Diablo? Not so much

Out of curiosity - is a “proper hot dog roll” in New England the same as the standard Lobster Roll bun in New England? Because those always just seemed like what I consider a “proper hot dog roll” with part of the crust cut off. Maybe slightly taller. And that being said, which is the “proper” Lobster Roll? Hot

Hmm. So I wonder if I gift myself 6 months of Google Play, will it interfere with the $8/month price from being an early adopter. Saving $18 is cool and all, but if it picks me back up at $10/month when the 6 months runs out...

I would expect that spending 3/4 of a million on issuing parking tickets would bring in more than it costs. Otherwise, they are doing it wrong.

Thanks! This article just reminded me I had a credit card with an annual fee coming up. Account cancelled, and $75 saved. Off to a good start for February!
