I haven’t re-watched either. It’s possible that Arrow wouldn’t hold up on re-watch. It’s not a very nuanced or deep series-it’s schlock. Its main appeals were pulpy momentum and awesome action. Which don’t tend to hold up as well when I re-watch things and already know where the story is going. Whereas Daredevil was

Relatable.

This is an excellent list. I’d put BoJack higher, but there’s a ton of great stuff on there.

I think 2013-2015 outdo it, personally.

I agree with a lot of your list. It’s got lots of genre stuff on there, which I appreciate.

I think Lindelof will stick the landing. He’s learned his lesson.

Agree with all of that. The Mandalorian is decent at best.

We shouldnt! Its great.

We shouldnt! Its great.

BoJack deserves its spot on the list. Its The Good Place which is ranked far too high.

I’d go:

Yeah, if they actually pull this off until Season 9, at the pace that it should be at....well, that would certainly be something.

I kind of shudder at the thought of what this show will look like by Episode 100.

The premiere was great. This episode deserved a C though. It really was one of the worst episodes of Rick and Morty ever. Some episodes in Season 3 were just as weak though. So it’s not like this show has ever been particularly consistent.

It started strong, but ended weak, so I didn’t give it credit for that. Daredevil Season 1 had better execution (better dialogue, acting etc.), but Arrow Season 2 had a way stronger sense of momentum and was paced better.

Stephen Amell’s scenes with Oliver’s kids are better and more impactful than basically the entirety of Seasons 3, 4 and 6. *This* is what Arrow should have been like the whole time. Not trying to top itself with spectacle, but the characters.

Season 1, Episode 9 was really strong, and convinced me to stick with it.

When the show started, I really thought her turn had the potential to be incredibly dramatic, intense, and heartbreaking-because it’s been done that way on other shows. But it...was really neither. It just happened, and hasn’t really been handled right since.
