All 3 should be so much higher. I think they’re very underrated. I debated with another commenter about the merits of Person of Interest on this very article, and I have elsewhere about all 3 of them. Looking forward to Season 4 of The Expanse in one month. Those three deserved to be several dozen spots up-better than

I mean, I can’t blame you for not reading the list.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit as well. I disagree with Perkins’ grading a lot for basically every show he reviews, but at least he backs up his perspective well.

I thought they’d make a separate list for miniseries, documentaries, etc.

They haven’t though. And even if they did, it wouldn’t mean it’s forgettable.

Ha! It’s below The Great British Baking Show. That’s certainly an interesting choice. It’s kind of predictable how these lists shake out-The Americans and The Good Place will always be near the top, Bojack will always just miss the Top 10, and POI never makes it. Ah, well. But, yes, 73 is ridiculous-I can comfort

Yeah, there was a ton of stuff this decade. A ton.

Why thank you.

Why? What did you get out of it?

I don’t think I did.

Whether he did is irrelevant. Whether it makes sense for his character....different story.

Lol yeah good point. It’s always fun to watch though.

I guess I don’t really mind if the show isn’t placing a lot of stock in its ending....but when a series builds itself on steady pacing, nuance, logical consequences, and sound world-building, it’s kind of a problem if it throws that all away at the finish line.

Which one shouldn’t have been on there, out of curiosity?

I’d add in Death Parade, for sheer creativity. Great list!

Better Call Saul has a major structural issue at its core though that it’ll probably never overcome-that being the disconnect between Mike and Jimmy’s stories. Breaking Bad is more focused and better paced. Better Call Saul is definitely richer though, and I think will stand the test of time better. Besides a towering

Person of Interest is at #73.

It’s up there with the best episodes of The Leftovers and Halt and Catch Fire when it comes to depictions of grief on tv this decade.

The Leftovers only has 2 great seasons of tv as well. Fair point about the Americans though-great show for a long time.

This site dropped it 7 episodes in despite sticking around for multiple seasons of Gotham and Once Upon a Time. They then spent its run leaving it off of basically every list-so I’m quite happy to see it on the list at all!
