AV Club said the same thing about POI. They were wrong btw-POI was never as bad as they made it out to be originally. Though it is unique for a show to jump from decent to genuinely spectacular as with POI, it can happen.

Im really enjoying your comments about POI and The Good Wife-the two best network dramas of the decade. TGW went sour for me shortly into the sixth season, while POI just got better and better.

He does somewhat resemble the Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Which, I think, is what they were referring to.

Perhaps....but it was a B/B- episode.

Everything could use more Tahani.

I thought it was pretty good overall as well. About next wekk though......I am really not a fan of the original “Thunder Gun Express”, so who knows if they can redeem it next week. I’m glad Megan Ganz is back this season, at least.

Even then, I saw plenty of people in the comments saying how Season 7 was a huge improvement on 6 (I love Season 6 by the way-it has The Gang Buys a Boat, Mac’s Big Break, Mac and Charlie: White Trash, and Who Got Dee Pregnant?), and how 9 and 10 were a return to the classic era. I personally prefer Seasons 7-10 to

I stopped watching it a few seasons ago.

Season 1 of Person of interest is its weakest, but it’s still pretty damn good-the last 5 episodes in particular are fantastic, and might have gotten me to favor POI, but they hadn’t been released yet at the time of this comment. Homeland Season 1 was pretty excellent. All subsequent seasons though.....no contest.

Is there even a ‘Golden Age’ of Sunny? First two seasons were rough, but after that they’re roughly equivalent to me. Season 10 was really good.

To be fair to that comment, it was back in 2012. Homeland had only aired one season. Overall, Person of Interest is a superior show-by far.

A ‘B’ grade is pretty damn good for a pilot. It shows potential.

I mean, pretty much every show contains tropes. That’s why TvTropes exists. It’s all down to execution.

I’m shocked it’s taken this long for her to get a lead role like this.

hbomberguy made the same point about Moffat, and I have to disagree with both of you-with regards to Doctor Who, not Sherlock. Sure, he bungled a lot of the threads in the Matt Smith era (still better than the RTD era for me-no Love and Monsters), but the fifth season still stands as the show’s best season, and the

I strongly disagree. They don’t feel vital to me at all.

All 3 of them were pretty weak episodes of tv honestly.....but the directing in the finale was completely flat. “The Long Night” was sort of interesting, but the director forgot to turn up the brightness.

Even Parks and Rec had a modest rebound. I really agree that the writers will knock the final season out of the park-and I wasn’t too enamored with Season 3. I also keep seeing an ad for it. The one with the shrimp.

BCS is great.....for about 50% of its runtime. The Mike sections are completely perfunctory. Definitely better than any season of Game of Thrones, though.

At least Beinoff and Weiss didn’t win ‘Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series’. The cast and crew made the final season somewhat bearable for me, but I thought it was very poor from a screenwriting perspective.
