It’s a stellar film.

No offense-but I don’t really trust your view. Just seems like our tastes differ.

He’s not criticizing it for slow pacing-he’s criticizing its writing and lack of scares. Slow pacing can work if the show is good enough (Season 1). This just isn’t.

Yup-wish they called it after the near-perfection of Season One. Nothing can tarnish Season One for me, though.

He gets it. He reviewed the first season, and (rightfully, in my view) heaped praise on it. He’s not disliking Season Two because he ‘doesn’t get it’. He’s disliking it because he believes it falls far short of Season One-and I agree. Disagree all you want, but he doesn’t get it? C’mon.

I always favored other cartoons over it-still like it though.

While we’re on the subject of paintings and things, Hudson River School.

I havent been exposed to much pre-20th century Asian art. It sounds like I should though-probably tons of great stuff to be found there.

Good choice.

Hes a master of the pen. Eloquent and incredibly thoughtful-one of the best writers of all time (Russia has no shortage of them).

Strongly agree.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde still holds up. That and Tom Sawyer are probably my choices.

How good is it?

I don’t think Sean T. Collins would agree, considering he placed “The Bells” as the number one Game of Thrones episode.

It would work a lot better without the monster. The subject matter could produce a great drama on its own-there’s no need for it here.

Same here. I was skeptical of it working-but it totally did.

Katie’s a great reviewer from what I’ve read of her film reviews. Glad she decided to review this.

Is there a schedule for these recaps?

Young Justice.

That’s a low bar.
