Well it’s definitely a Star Trek episode. There’s some pretty stiff competition from the other Trek shows. (Specifically thinking of “Far Beyond the Stars” and “In the Pale Moonlight”)

Pretty much, yeah.

A quick look on Rotten Tomatoes showed me that Fifty Shades Freed has a higher audience score than The Last Jedi.....

Here’s hoping they can!

I’m not sure about Lonsdale. Maybe he’s a good actor, but he was so terribly written on the Flash that he got nothing compelling to work with. Literally all he did was whine about one thing or another. They never did the character justice.

That’s a good point. It would be pretty nice if there were more B-tier characters on the show, rather than C and D list ones.

They did manage to make Darkh a fun antagonist after his terrible Season 4 storyline, so you may be right there.

But isn’t he preferable to The Flash’s version of Wally West, who’s coming on soon?

They really need to bring on Matt Ryan as a series regular. He fits in incredibly well with the team.

I kind of liked Rene last season, but Dinah was always underdeveloped, and Curtis was always useless and painfully unfunny.

This is the most common problem in the Arrowverse besides major plot holes and inconsistent character development; they never put any more effort than a couple scenes and lines of dialogue into establishing new characters or relationships, yet they still somehow expect us to care. The Flash did it last season with

I very much enjoyed that one. It wouldn’t have felt out of place in Season 1. This season, I think the main arc is just as poor as Seasons 2-3, but the standalones are proving to be pretty fun.

The first two seasons will always be the best though. One of the best superhero runs on television ever, imo. Watching them back-to-back is like one gloriously long, awesome movie.

When I said, “Daredevil and Jessica Jones Season 1", I meant Season 1 of both shows. And I wasn’t saying they’re the best shows on tv, not by a long shot. I think they’re similar to Shield in terms of quality, in that they’re superior to the CW shows by a lot, but still not really close to the best show on tv.

It’s definitely better than these shows, but it’s pretty inconsistent compared to other shows on tv. It and Daredevil and Jessica Jones Season 1 were really good I thought.

I wasn’t. Michael Emerson can survive anything, even CW writing.

Season 1 of Shield was exceedingly mediocre though. Seasons 2 and 3 are pretty good, and Season 4 is amazing. Not the greatest track record to be honest.

It definitely had flaws, but it had the right tone for a Flash show and a compelling, well written villain. Seasons 2 and 3 told the same story, but without those two crucial elements. Season 4 is at least different, but still not that great. The first few episodes had Legends of Tomorrow tone, which still isn’t

I believe the word is “forking”, Mr. Perkins.

Crazy super-villains, I can take. Garbage cartoons are another story.....
