I don’t think it’s that for me: I love It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is basically about the worst group of people in the U.S.. But I think there’s two big differences. The first is that Sunny has actual characters. The second is that Sunny actually does have occasionally touching moments, and an emotional

I seriously don’t think humanity will survive another 300 episodes.

Glad to hear this show is good. With the exceptions of Legends of Tomorrow post-S2 and The Flash S1, I feel like the Arrowverse has been has been in a downward spiral after Arrow S2. The CW needed another really strong superhero show to boost their lineup.

Actually he said he wasn’t represented by either party. But on this site, being right of ‘left of center’ was probably enough to damn him.

The magic power of screeners.

What the hell is wrong with Chris Pratt?

Yeah it was gross for sure, but that was just part of the comedy. That aspect was always there, and I get why people don’t like that part of it. I used to really enjoy the show, but much less so after seeing other comedies, but I don’t recall there being any sexual misconduct, which was NoOnesPost’s point.

That’s a good point-I liked the pilot, but I didn’t love it. I was hooked when Michael “kicked a puppy into the sun” in the second episode though.

I’m very curious to see what the Bad Place actually looks like. The descriptions so far seem a bit off for a Michael Schur show. I’m sure whatever they decide to do will be hilarious though. This show is probably the best on tv right now, now that Twin Peaks and Halt and Catch Fire are over.

I feel like it fixes the criticisms a lot of people had about Parks and Rec in its later seasons-lack of stakes, narrative momentum, etc. This show has both of those, and is forking hilarious to boot.

His evil smile and laugh in “Michael’s Gambit” sent a chill down my spine. Give Ted Danson all the awards!

Sexual assault is defined as unwanted sexual contact that stops short of rape or attempted rape. I don’t see how the Naked Man fits. It’s gross, but again, you should have realized that when it was airing and realized you found it offensive!

How does it come across as ‘rapey’? Barney’s behavior is gross, but you probably should have realized that when it was airing.

Creating something that no one will cry about is a Herculean task nowadays. It was gross when Michael made creepy comments towards Pam, but the show never portrayed that as acceptable behavior.

Yup. Though I do recall there being substantial criticism of it at the time anyways so......

The states themselves are great. Some of the people in them aren’t so great, but still. Sylvester is correct below when he said you’ve never actually been to those states, you’re just assuming that everyone in a state is homogenous.

I’m wondering why he/she spared Georgia.

What’s so great about Ghana?

I’m quite fond of Maine. Most of the states you mentioned have some redeeming factor, besides Mississippi.

And here comes the Moffat hate brigade, blaming him for lines he didn’t even write!
