C’mon J-man, it’s not like Olympic-level gymnast/supermodel psychologists are just growing on trees...we except for in comics of course ;)

I think Nightmare could be a lot of fun for film, and could turn Strange 2 into a horror movie.

I had a huge disappointment with the lack of fiery fire on Dormammu.

Watching him in the M:I movies (showing a little more humor) has made me like him has Hawkeye (BlandMan!) more. Plus his speech in Ultron was great, since none of it really did make any sense

I actually thought that Renner’s performance in Civil war was several steps towards the Fraction characterization. I think Renner could do it, it’s just that the writing has been so bland for him so far. The scene where he breaks out Scarlet Witch was small, but his dialogue and performance was the most engaging he

Actually, if you read the article instead of shaming some hard working journalist immediately, you’d know that he didn’t endanger his life. Like, not even close. This is a great video to showcase how, in the words of Paracelsus, “The dose makes the poison.” Science on, brother.

FTFY.

It’s not just me...there was an episode of Stargate SG-1 *just* like this, right...?

I can’t counter these assertions but...

That was the SG-1 plan. OH, you are talking about WormHole Extreme. It’s a very funny show. Ridiculous to think something like that is real!

I thought the whole point was it symbolized Pop and more specifically, “clean money” vs “blood money” when look is holding the brochure and the swear jar in each hand.

My own head canon is that it boils down to two people: Pops and Jessica Jones.

I hated Shades, but loved watching him be Shades. He was just so very evil, but logically so. Calmly so. Upsettingly so. When he got his ass kicked by Misty and Claire it was satisfying. The look on his face even showed he thought so when he was being led out of the basement.

But we get more Shades. Probably lots more. Setting up the inevitable link between Mariah and Fisk in the future. Because that is what Shades does.

Luke was a boxer so you could probably chalk up some of that dodging and blocking to instinct.

I think Pimp Stormtrooper was spot-on.

Personally, I don’t think the faux-super-science is any more egregious than that of any super-hero origin story. Its somewhat telling that you compare it to Bruce Banner/Hulk’s origin because people have been saying for years that if treated with even the slightest hint of realism, the Hulk origin would have left

I enjoyed it a lot, particularly the fact that Luke didn’t wallow like Matt with a crisis of conscience. However, the practically telegraphed hero story tropes (without going into spoilers, I’ll just say: Pops, Squabbles, Reva, that crowd scene, cop issues) really kind of dragged things down for me.

I found this show exceptional in how much it embraced the blackness of its characters and its setting. As an outsider looking in—I’m white and Asian—it felt heartfelt and authentic in its exploration of different facets of the black experience in America. The show never seemed to be trying to push a particular message

Make America’s time capsules great again.
