Denver plus that engine is your issue - hell, the V6 here is a joke.

It has no uses that haven’t been addressed literally decades ago.  Go away.

You’re just realizing the last part?

That only really works for the E63 wagon.  Because absurd pricing and brand loyalty on that particular car.  BMWs here weren’t known for their wagons, but their sedans...

Well, but it’s not popular - it didn’t sell.  Jeep clientele isn’t entirely sane, nor the general populace (the wrangler being a crossover between the two aside).  Jeep people are jeep people.  Non jeep people...  might buy a wrangler, because wrangler.  The Liberty killed off a lot of good will, at least from what

Agreed, actually. My JK was manual - I’m not sure I’d get the JL in stick, as it just felt... wrong. I test drove them twice. Also, oddly enough, I’d want the Turbo 4 in it, which you can’t pair (I live at high altitude, it actually is better than the 6).

Had a slightly earlier model with 2wd/4wd select.  11mpg was average on the highway - doesn’t really matter with these.

I won’t disagree on the engine choices - the lackluster options on the TSX killed it for me (even though I enjoyed the design), and the revisions after the early (2004ish) 3.2 TL were just...  wtf looking.  I still want that gen of TL personally - it’s one of the best looking cars out there - but their larger stuff

I disagree. Come to where I live and give it a try - I’ll laugh as you’re making 50-60% of the power you would at sea level. Some of the best roads in the country - most starting at around 8-9000 ft. NA motors wheeze here. I live at 7k.

Acura had one - the RL. It didn’t sell at all. They killed it a couple of years ago.

My only wish is that they stuck the TT V6 in it instead of the 8, but I know why they didn’t.

This.  I’m not old, I’m in the best shape of my life, and I’ve still got one already-repaired knee and another on the way out (and back issues starting to show up).  I’ll admit that a small part of me keeps poking my ego and saying “look, something like this might be right next time around...  it’ll be much more

This.  Never once looked at lexus till the design change - strongly considered their cars twice, now waiting for them to put a real engine into the IS350.

You can get very good M+S snow tires that aren’t studded or that bad - or even all-weather (almost-snows) that function the same (not all-season, mind you - although they’re often sold under that moniker). I’ve only bought “true” snow tires once - when I was dailying a C5 Corvette for a bit - the rest of the time, the

I see you like snow chains (requirement where they’re moving unless you have AWD). Good luck!

Also a major point.  RWD doesn’t sell except on toys here - and FWD if AWD is an option also doesn’t resell well.

I see very few 9000+ft mountains in Michigan...  just saying.  In fact, your highest peak (highest cornice) is, well, not that much larger than the central hills in Louisville.  And no one is driving up Mt Avron except for fun in the winter - but that’s just the main streets in Louisville.

Except those occasional “real” snows (I lived at the top of the hill in Louisville for 15 years) where AWD and ground clearance are the ONLY way to get up there - if even barely - even with M+S or snows on top of the AWD.  About every 3-4 years.  Or when they decide to kick on the traction law to remind the idiots

Louisville is split between two significant hills here.  We also have a traction law.  Unless she wants to carry chains, you have to have AWD - CODOT got tired of idiots with mustangs and “winter tires” (crappy all seasons) and mandated it.  You get impounded if you break the rules.

Because changing the damper changes the feel - which was the goal.  It’s a combination of the two, and if you change one, it’ll make it feel “floatier” and less crashy when hitting a pothole or the like.
