I guess the lightbulb never went off to tell them this was a bad idea...

So just because the kicks admits that it sucks, and the Juke tried to be multiple things, the Kicks is better?

Thought the NISMO was CVT only?

I’m already budgeting to get one in 2021 or 2022 (I do want to see what the Z06 offers, especially if it’s the rumored DOHC twin-turbo 5.5; I live at 7000 feet and density altitude is a right royal pain in the ass), and while I’m perfectly “fine” with the DCT (it’s a mid-engined supercar-lite), I’d prefer the manual

Always felt the opposite- while autos can be nice in traffic (I always preferred creeping along in first with a manual, but hey), the clutch handling in stop and go traffic was horrible in all the DCTs I’ve driven. Now, these were Audi DSGs (S4/S3) and older, generally, but still... track and open road? Fuck yeah

Ah yes. 120HP or so out of a N/A 4 tied to a CVT is better just because what, it looks more normal? Skip the torque vectoring AWD, skip the turbo motor (which actually had a decent aftermarket), skip the optional manual (lost the AWD though), skip the actual stiff sports suspension... for what, a generic box on wheels

There’s always a way. I’m personally waiting to see what the Z06 looks like - if the rumors hold true, that’s where I’ll aim (emissions means no cam, and turbos for altitude).

I’ll admit, the Supra was on my list for my next car (to replace the work car) in 2 years or so.  Now it’s not.

Drop the motor and swap it. Same as any other car, just a bit more work than a prior-generation. Wait till we get to the Z06 and it’s DOHC and turboed.

Not too bad. Couldn’t stand living in Ohio, personally - but you do you. Also not a huge tech industry there yet, but it’s growing steadily. It’s also not Cleveland, which is important.

Love it.  Now it’s going to cost, but I’ll pay it.

Where?

Different crash test construction and structural members, although those shouldn’t be ~too~ hard. Custom transaxle (especially since it’s their first DCT), different location of the passenger cabin (that they don’t have a ton of experience actually building, only thinking about building). Not much if anything that can

No jobs though, especially further away from the city.  :(

Bought a new ZL1 in 2013. Bought a new Wrangler in 2016. 55k is pretty reasonable and attainable for a lot of people(even though I think this will start at near 90).  Should it be for more people?  Yep.  But again, different discussion.

What house costs ~100k?!?

We shall see indeed. No way it starts under 80.

We shall see.  We’ve already seen the interior - those leaked a couple of days ago.

15-20k over a 9 year loan ain’t that much!

How so?
