I270 is 2 lanes. I70 on the section they want to tear down is 3 or 4 in most areas, and even 5. I270 already takes 35 minutes to cross those 2 miles. You want to make that worse?

There’s no where to PUT a bypass; the one that already exists (270 - from I70 to US-36) is slammed, can’t be expanded enough (some stupid reason there), has major traffic problems as is, and doesn’t get you far enough north (and is now going through two neighborhoods that grew up around the highway as well). You’d…
Clearly you don’t know the landscape of Denver much.
They’re already DOING that. Namely, they’re burying it instead of having it as a skyway - to connect globeville and swansea with RiNO.
Complicit how, exactly? I worked my ass off to advance; 80 hour weeks, studying over the weekends, skipping hobbies and things with friends to build a new project, prove I could do something, and get the new job... How is enjoying the results being complicit?
I called mine frankenjeep. It was not good. I miss it still. Best worst car I ever owned.
For me it’s not the power, it’s how it’s delivered - I love the S2k (may buy one in a week or so here after almost buying one twice before), and I love the RSX-S, and owned an SVT Focus so I’m not anti-N/A 4cyl. But I live at 7000 Ft. A NA 4Cylinder that makes 150hp here (density altitude sucks) is... well, an economy…
Yes, but unlike other small 4s, it doesn’t really ~like~ to do that - it’s best there, but seems, well, reluctant (comparing to say the S2k, early K20 engines, or even the SVT Focus motor). It’s best up there, but it doesn’t seem eager to do it. Don’t know how else to describe it (I’ve been told the latest year and…
If it ends up being turbocharged, with the same power, I’m in.
Snow Luxury.
I meant the V6 in the GS, which makes less power where I live (at 7000 ft) than the base motor. I wanted the original 274hp 4 from the GS of last gen, or a better one - not a parts-bin V6 that has zero real aftermarket and no hope for one, and is just a paperweight.
I just wish it had a better drivetrain.
I’m thinking about buying a Veloster N instead; already got a nice sedan, don’t need a second one.
It was on some of the higher-power 6s and the N63 / N63TU TTV8. Both of those had 15k intervals that was... bad. Really bad.
M550, 2014 - deal was too good (32,5k with 29k on it), and they tossed in an extended warranty out till 95,000 miles for cheap too. Damned good car - wish it had the manual all the time, but the ZF8 is about as good as an auto gets, and the car fills my “work” needs perfectly, so I can’t complain. And in a pinch, it…
Some were miss-listed online - that I get, as much as I hate it, and just don’t go look at it. But around here, lots of generic photos online too rather than the actual car (do they move too fast? too lazy? Both?), and since it might be a YEAR before they put a real photo up, I had to go actually check on those.
They’ve told me recently that the Civic SI is super rare, there’s no negotiating room on it, and I should be happy to pay MSRP for it - and no, they don’t do the incentives that Honda is offering, thanks, MSRP or nothing. Found one that doesn’t, but they never get the SI in. >_<
Oh, and auto - but twin turbo V8 is a hoot, as are the epic good seats.
No, but I spend $40-50 on a good steak. Not $30k. I also live with the steak for a couple of days, at worst, vs 3-4 years. I was shopping because I needed to shrink from 4 cars to 3, and was looking for a good work car - the Accord seemed like a perfect fit, but “seemed” and “is” are two different things, as I’ve…
There were 9 I looked at the pics - all auto except the one :(
