It sounds like he has really low self-esteem, among other issues. If he is interested in dating you, maybe he's trying to cut you down (consciously or subconsciously) so that he doesn't end up realizing that you're out of his league. Good advice. If you're going to do this, Mendeley is an excellent tool that serves as both a pdf organizer and citation manager. This and Evernote saved my sanity in grad school.
