They did the same thing in Spider-Man 2–or at least they pointed out the strange coincidence behind the fact that a man named “Otto Octavius” ended up with eight appendages.

IMDb is purely user-submitted, though. No matter how likely it seems, don’t trust until we have official confirmation or credits roll.
There is. She was coerced into sending a stupidly tone-deaf memo and then thrown under the bus—that’s not her fault. Condoning war crimes is her fault. And while I do feel bad for her (see my previous post), she’s still a larger-scope evil and should probably be tried before an international court.
I am trying to fathom how evil a person has to be to make me feel sympathetic toward the torture apologist.
The Verge did a double-review with both someone who’s watched the original and someone who hadn’t.
I’m not going to ever say “don’t watch the original,” particularly when it comes to Bebop, but I’ve been reading warmer reviews elsewhere from both people who have and haven’t watched the original.
I love the setpieces in F9. However, I was completely shocked, SHOCKED I say, when I discovered this was the first F&F movie ever which requires watching the entire rest of the series, including Tokyo Drift (which, okay, it’s both the movie that introduced and killed Han), to understand what’s going on.
After he realizes what he’s eating, does she get to say “Are we having fun yet?”
I just want a Kingo and Karun series, honestly.
I’m paying for Twitter Blue because they picked up Scroll and are rolling out its functionality. Kinja used to be part of Scroll but I didn’t see any of its sites in Twitter Blue’s list of supported sites; did you guys drop out?
Wait, has nobody in this thread actually watched the Jumanji movies? Was the “cast Danny DeVito as Agent Hobbs” thing way up earlier not a sly reference to Johnson doing the inverse?
I don’t think I rate anything more than a Kinsey 2.5, but I wouldn’t mind if they performed most of their sketches shirtless.
It reminds me of this XKCD, released when the whole West was playing FarmVille: https://xkcd.com/802/
Surprised nobody’s pointed out that an actual f-bomb is dropped in the trailer itself. Contextually it makes sense (assuming it’s from their take on Pierrot Le Fou) but it’s still pretty noteworthy that they actually said it out loud.
CORE. COMPETENCY.
I’m guessing the basic idea is that a lot of these movies get passed around from provider to provider, so that if you’re not subscribed to literally every streaming service in existence you’ll get a shot at watching the movie for a month.
I mean Aaron mentions his nephew but not an age, and it’s been four years since Homecoming came out. No reason Miles couldn’t be ten or eleven during Homecoming.
Can I borrow 10,000 won?
I did not realize they were talking about Brandi Carlile until I read your post.
