Totally agree with you. Especially about Ms. Bassett. She's been elevated to the level of demigoddess for me after seeing her in this show.

I nominate the Bletchly Circle if it's available on US netflix. I also have winter blahs. I haven't left the house, done anything or eaten anything but snack food all day. Also trying to decide what to watch.
1998 Jude Law. The finest vintage. Notes of hardwoods and red fruits.
Any time I hear that one partner feels the other partner's sexual desire or functioning is gross or boring I know that relationship is going to end up being very difficult for at least one if not both of those people.
I'm down for whatever, as long as I don't wake up to a flurry of twat mist in a forest of cock shafts.
You should start wiping your dick on her incredibly soft hand towels then bring up the wet towels when she freaks out on you about it. -Girlfriend whose boyfriend did this.

"Save your protest energy for more important matters, like wet towels on the bed."
I would have been fine with just "Life on Mars" and "Heroes" because - if it had been just those two - they would've made for really nice bookends on the season. I thought Heroes fit well in the finale, and also I just think it's a really great song.
ugh. Exactly. Name Game was great. No more.
The songs were a symptom of one of the major problems of this show: "That was great! Do it over and over until blood is pouring from the audiences' mouths and ears!"
Ugh, it was no Coven, but this season was still abysmally unfocused. What I hate about American Horror Story nowadays is that it's filled with these nuggets of AMAZING television and also AMAZING performances (everyone this season was a delight, especially Finn Wittrock), but it still manages to be one of the biggest…
this was my favorite season bc I really enjoyed all the characters. I hated coven, I liked asylum but the alien thing and the nazi dr thing really got on my nerves (it just felt sooo random). I liked that they kept this one focused more on the characters, which Murder House also did. I feel like such a minority for…
I'm with you.
I was very into this season! I thought Coven was horrendous, so this was a big step up IMO. The biggest complaints seem to be that it didn't make sense, which...no shit. It's Ryan Murphy.
Remember how Jimmy was a wanted man for supposedly killing a bunch of women? And then his father helped him escape so he's still a highly wanted fugitive?
I think I may be the only one in the whole world who loved this season. It wasn't perfect, but the diversity of the actors more than made up for that, in my opinion. Name one other show that has had the guts to portray people with developmental disabilities, genetic deformities and mental illnesses without turning…
