Wow, that is an extreme reaction on your dads part. But I do know mothers who have literally CRIED when their adult daughters have chosen to cut their hair. In one case it was basically from waist length to elbow length so none of the rest of us could tell the difference, but her mom was truly devastated. Bizarre.
