Well, if history teaches us anything, it’s that there aren’t very many fools around.

I totally thought you were saying it costs 12 British Pounds ($16 USD) to haul a car out of a creek. Like that’s what you paid last time it happened (presumably in Britain).
All the better reason? Someone looking to return one to stock is gonna pull their hair out looking for all the fiddly bits.
Yeah, but then you slip in with yours at $125.00 and someone, somewhere won’t be able to resist.
And someone will buy that part for actual money if he lists it on ebay.
This is the most accurate comment I’ve read today.
Type I of Theseus.
Yeah, 800 out of three liters for a drag specific build isn’t hard to believe at all, especially on alcohol. There’s an 8v 2.0 internal water pump A4 Beetle out there putting out ~500 crank. 800 for a max effort car seems totally feasible.
While that may be true, if it is in your trash, you effectively threw out 100 bucks. Think of it like that.
You are selling it to the Brits?
./grin
Marketing, Bradley. You are selling a rare performance part that lowers the center of gravity. Only $100 + I’ll recycle the sway bar from your 911 you won’t need any more as a result of the lower center of gravity.
A real man would have pulled the engine, tore it down on the kitchen table, replaced the Type-4 crankshaft with a counterbalanced unit, (Stroker crank? Maybe?) weighed and balanced the rods and pistons (That’s why god created Dremel tools and cheap scales) lapped the valves, and replaced the rings. It would help a lot…
Brad: “Screw the rich”
Have you not met Porsche owners?
Jesus, man. List it for one hundred dollars. Only a fool would pay two hundred dollars but a “savvy shopper” might pay for one at half price.
Have you ever met an old Porsche owner?
...and you threw it in the trash...
you gonna sing a different tune when the car vibrates itself to bits
Good thing it’s not a Tesla. You didn’t pay for the light version; Elon would over the air that 12 pounds right back in.
