It’s like Pamela Anderson is stuck in an eternal loop of playing a cool girl who is the only one that understands the bad boy. Only in this case the bad boy is an old, gross man, who is more nefarious   than bad. Really not a good look.

But the two offenses are not of equal standing.

People regularly choose to dislike actors because they find them annoying or think that their acceptance speeches are too cloying or disapprove of their gowns or think they sound like idiots in their interview. Disliking someone because he’s been accused of sexual assault seems at least as fair as that.

They also think it is somehow charming in a wild, untamed loner kinda way. they rope in women who have bought into the idea that love can change/cure people. It is similar to the women who think it is cute or charming when they brag about being high-maintenance drama queens.

To be fair, maybe this means CNN, Politico, and the Times will—pardon my vernacular—stop sucking off this administration and actually do real, unashamed reporting on it. They may have been denied access, but they still exist as organizations and can still do their jobs.
