I imagine you're right. I'm just not a big fan of 'unforeseen' issues relating to overheating, not least because I had a 360 RROD on me, and late last year, my 'fat' PS3 did the yellow ring.

So it's just over a foot in one direction (or around the full length of a traditional length ruler), That is pretty small. My only concern there is overheating/lack of venting, though I suspect they'll have that sorted.
Nothing can kill Gambon. He'll just decide to leave this plane of existence and enter a state of hibernation, ready to bring back the awesome for a new generation.
Dead Rising Goes Serious? I'd draw a diagram of a mark, and how far this game misses it, but I imagine a lot of people are feeling the same way. Unless this is a joke, and the truth is the game will be as ludicrous as the previous entries, then I think Capcom may just have killed off a lot of interest in this series.…
He did indeed. Well, Michael Gambon - a man so legendary Top Gear renamed the fnal corner of their track in honour of him nearly flipping a car.
I'm really hoping by way of compromise they do something about the retro games on the Vita. No new PS1 releases this year (at least in the UK PSN store), and there are still disparities between the US/UK available titles. The UK one has a few Japanese and US versions of games, so I really can't see why they've not…
Maybe it's the headache I'm nursing, but I misread the title of the game as 'Klingon Crush' and heard Michael Dorn's voice in my head (closer to the king of the dwarfs in Billy and Mandy than I. M. Weasel of even Worf).
I agree with you completely about Luke. I even bought a copy of the game for my dad, who's impression of him was 'he's a whiny little bitch'. I wouldn't have put it quite like that, but in the early part of the game he certainly feels like an entitled individual with a superiority complex. The fact the game allows him…
Reading some of these comments, I can't help but feel myself quoting Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention: I may not be black, but there are a whole lot of times I wish I could say I wasn't white.
That's exactly the problem. Aside from creating a 'hit' for a CE junkie, there's no real benefit to them existing - and one could argue they're detrimental because they fuel a habit for people to spend more than they should.
Honestly the best thing they could have done was include a set of soundtrack CD's or codes…
Sadly I never played Grandia III, but I recall it was a bit of a departure. I agree though, that all three I mentioned are great games. I'd love to see Grandia II on the Vita or 3DS.
Reminds me of Grandia 2, also. Oddly I found both that and Tales of Symphonia more instantly enjoyable than FF X, even if they all share a plot - or at last have a lot in common with one another. I adored ToS though, so much that I did start playiing again as soon as I completed it. X took me longer just because the…
I remember back when I used to play WoW, a lot of my fellow Guildies were really looking forward to Project Titan. But then they were also looking forward to the Path of the Titans leveling mechanic that was going to be implemented in Cataclysm. Or before that, the idea of the Death Knight epic quest chain. I still…
They have to have included D20 grenades or better yet, DRAAAAAAAMA BOMBS! (would probably work like an MC spell in some games, but you know, it'd be infighting because drama).
I learnt and exploited the heck out of it: My preferred combo was Status-Atk Drain on Squall, with Pain on defence, plus whatever other immunities I wanted The draw component of the system however, was horrendous. Sure it was avoidable by the second disc, but acquiring enough magic took a stupidly long time, and was…
I think the major issue for me is when I see the word special, I like to think it'll be something that lives up to such a description. Often this just isn't the case. It's usually an assortment of random stuff bundled in without real care. Sometimes they get it right, of course;- the Borderlands 2 loot chest springs…
I look forward to the day when second-hand sales of cars and houses has the same system as Microsoft are employing. Clothes, books, antiques the same. In fact with Microsoft's aims, games will cease being collectible or of ever reaching antique status as they'll be absolutely worthless. That doesn't do much for the…
Something else that doesn't help with discerning his age is the grizzled look he sports in images like the one for this article. Normally, a male character will have less facial hair to suggest they're young - or if they have a beard, it'll be like in Batman Begins and be used as a sign they've hit a rough patch/been…
It's not as though the British Government is much better. During the local elections, as I looked at the prospective candidates, I couldn't help but be reminded of the last paragraph of Animal Farm. It's becoming increasingly harder to spot the difference between Labour, the Tories, and the Lib-Dems. Throw in UKIP,…
I didn't say they weren't useful, just that Baseball caps are not a common sight in England, and even less so in September when it tends to just rain an awful lot. It feels like something that was added before the release date was pushed back half a year.
