Do you mean to suggest that a Sea Shepherd ship actually did something vaguely in the interest of animals without causing a gigantic embarrassment for the test of us?

While much of what you said is true, including the fact that we're on borrowed time (literally), it turns out that the Chinese do not own nearly as much of our debt as most people think.

Regarding Congress, gerrymandering is one of the big problems with our country. Most people want to clean house (and senate), but

You have to remember the battlefield. China would not put its ships off the coast of California. Similar to the Russia government, and contrary to American media would like you to believe, all their interests are very local. They really don't care what goes on on the other side of the world, and don't need to be

littering and

so the lone torpedo that destroyed them (in a remarkably similar fashion)

That explanation is not canon, and also a stupid post hoc justification for a mistake.

Not enough Russians, duh.

"Something that is really great about Star Trek, is that when a character notices something is amiss, and they are the only one to see it, the rest of the crew doesn't just dismiss their concerns offhand. You aren't saddled with an episode of the character trying to convince everyone else that what they saw / heard/

"What're you doing with that peanut butter son."

Ah, Krampus! I was scared out of my mind every year. Parents love to legally psycho-torture their kids on this day.

"When I'm done with your hair do you promise you'll help me with my costume?"

He had such dignity and composure, but raw pain was visible, lurking just beneath the surface during those moments. It was awful to watch - I can't even imagine/don't want to

Former Adelaide resident here - I worked briefly at Channel 9 during the late 80s around the time Bevan Spencer von Einem was in the news constantly after being charged with two of the Family murders. Understandably, anchor Kevin Crease covered anything to do with the trial and the murders - his co-anchor was Rob

It was done all the time in Afghanistan. It makes things much easier to coordinate at night and helps with potential blue on blue issues.

Usually used to hold IR glowsticks for IFF purposes.

IR/normal glowsticks for id purposes while training. I always found it stupid, train as you fight, especially if the enemy has night vision capabilities you wouldnt be using dumb ass glowsticks on the LAVs. I honestly cant remember if they made us do that in afghanistan, all I remember is things exploding all the time
