Na, it’s more about pissing all over anyone who doesn’t agree with them........

Now let’s see the result of that Bel-Air being rear ended by the Malibu, or hitting it head on...........

this is in part because the EPA argues that lighter, more fuel-efficient cars are more dangerous

I agree, but sadly, that is the biggest reason most people trade off a vehicle.

While many people may use a repair as an excuse to buy a new car, they are almost always making a really dumb decision.

Last I checked all the Hondas, Toyotas, Subarus, and Fords weren’t European.......

Didn’t know Honda, Toyota, and Subaru were German?

The Toyota Prius is often falsely considered the anti-enthusiast’s car.

Hopefully it was only half a line....

Problem is being nickel and dimed + hit by depreciation.

Figure he saved you from repairs ahead, he was doing you a favor ;)

You won’t get an argument on that.

Most cars require major service around the 100k mark. Things like timing belts for example costing around $1,500 to have changed, which isn’t worth it for most people, so they trade it off and start over.

4-5 yrs is all most vehicles last before they start nickel and diming you to death.

CARB overestimated, EPA then used those number to pass stricter emissions laws. Both were in the wrong.

Who uses a lift?????

My 66 Electra had the same.

Thanks. My kids and young cousins did the work:

I got that:

Depends on which car.
