There’s a yellow 16V 5spd TC in my driveway, one of the 501 with that drivetrain. My car was purchased to be harvested of that rare 16V engine, but like the last few owners I just don’t have the heart to do it to a running driving rust free car, so now I’m a TC owner.
You know what? I like this Jim guy. I was expecting an article showing maybe one or two driveable cars and a field full of trash but they all seem well cared for. He seems like a stand up guy who knows what he likes, then pursues it. Be like Jim.

I like it when women look more natural in a photo, the models in her photos would usually be trying to hard.
Totally. This is Jalopnik. Most of us were preoccupied with trying to figure out what the car was anyways.
Not to throw shade at $kay, who’s efforts will be missed, but she’s more attractive than most of the girls she posted.
Sounds like you just described most Holley carbs, except you didn’t mention constantly leaking fuel from every conceivable place possible.
The Mazda 787B that won Le Mans had variable length velocity stacks.
Has there ever been an active velocity stack system that changed the trumpet length depending on engine RPM?
