Eh, modern CUVs/SUVs are just sliderless minivans anyway.

Finally, a useful SUV (sport/utility van)!

How dare you come in here and state the simple facts!?!?!

Ya, someone disagrees with my opinion, they deserve to have their world ripped apart!

I prefer the FWD, it lets me know how slick it is, in turn telling me I need to drive carefully. AWD on the other hand gives a false sense of security when you take off without spinning, causing one to over drive the conditions, which is exactly why I see so many AWD vehicles in the ditch.

I wouldn’t choose either, I’d be driving my FWD Plymouth Voyager on Grabber ATXs, laughing at the “AWD is superior” people sitting in the ditch, just like I have done for the last 5 years.

You realize we’re talking about the average driver here right?

Gotta have that AWD to make sure you can get going on that ice.......To hell with stopping/steering once you’re going though....

I miss the days when people’s lives didn’t revolve around having a dumb box in front of their nose...

I would think if you’ve been doing it for 20 years you’d have it right by now.

People in our town talk about wanting to be different, wanting to shed the “Mom” image, etc, so they go buy a 3rd row cuv.

Here in lies my issue with modern cars, they’re not all that quiet or comfortable, most of them are pretty damn noisy and have quite hard seats.

Automakers: Current standards are too strict, we have to cheat to pass them.

Have sat in and ridden in a few. I base my experience off actual experience, not pictures.

I have, hence why I provided a picture to emphasize my point. If you took the Audi badge off the steering wheel, you’d be hard pressed to tell this “luxury” cuv from any of the other cuvs on the road.

I see a sea of cheap looking materials, uncomfortable looking seats, and a load of tech gimmicks to fool the masses:

I see a sea of plastic and gimmicks.

You’ve never heard of the Subaru Brat?!?!?

And that costs what exactly?

Eh, we all have days.
