Yeah, that’s (kinda) a lie. Routine care that’s not performed in your GP’s office (IUD, mammogram, etc.) can take a while because they’re often referral-based. And you may have heard stories of people waiting a year for a knee replacement. But that’s because the most urgent cases are taken care of first. Anyone I know

OMG, thank you Emily! This is now going to be my go-to line whenever I absolutely ace something: “It’s like I out-discoed Cher while Andy Warhol watched”. Epic!

I disagree. We both need to know the rules to be able to understand even if/when they have been broken. If we don’t know the rules, then we can’t discern meaning. For example, I need to be able to discern that you meant ‘there’ when you typed ‘their’.

Ok, but did you really have to say “this may sound like some new-age parenting shit”? Is it new age? I mean, it doesn’t sound like she’s replacing vaccines with crystals. Especially when later on you suggest that the more “reasonable” mode of parenting is to just not want blue/pink.

Oooh boy. I totally stand on the side of BDS and the ability to speak out against atrocities. And I see what she is saying, even if it was flippant.

The first few episodes can be a bit clunky, but stick with it! It really is a gem.

Now playing

Let’s not forget her in Beetlejuice! In my head canon, this is her favorite character and she jumped at the chance to somewhat resurrect her in Schitt’s Creek.

My problem with working from home is that friends and family think I’m available to do whatever, whenever. Which then bleeds work time into off time, because I have to make up the time I took to go out for (often a 3-hour) lunch or other excursion. It’s like as soon as people have you out of the house, they figure you

“I am very contrite about the consequences”. Oh, well, contrition makes it all better.

My god, what did you do to mangle the tops of those bottles? I hope GMG gets you some better wine openers soon.

Look, I’m not sure if you’re asking for advice, and if not, you do you. But if you are:

Haha, winos! Haha, Walmart! Haha, scooter!

All of that Canadian cheese is in contravention of USMCA (good deal)/NAFTA (bad deal)! Sad!

Doesn’t “utilize” encompass both intended and unintended uses?

Agreed. Also, to me much of this list reads as regional colloquialism. That is, what would be perfectly acceptable in the UK is seen as high-falutin’ in the US.

After reading all of the replies here, may I make an alternate suggestion? And forgive me if you’ve already tried this.

Right!? If it were me, I’d want a combination of Audrey Hepburn/Edith Head, Michelle Obama’s crazy boots, and Elizabeth Taylor.

This bugs me so much with strapless dresses. Also, put your hair up! Show off your beautiful shoulders/collarbones/necks! Having your hair down ruins the neckline of the dress for me. And obscures any jewelry--why wear gorgeous pendant earrings if your hair is in the way?

Fair enough, she had a choice in who it would be. But she had no choice in having a conservator to begin with.

There are sooo many great looks here! Sandra Oh, Idris Elba, Jamie Lee Curtis, Regina King, Caitronia Balfe, Indya Moore (holy shit, but needs better shoes!), Gemma Chan. Although not in my top pics, Judith Light always looks incredible on every carpet, and gives me life!
