Ok seriously, lay off the psoriasis crap. My dry-ass legs in the winter leave more dust on the floor when I peel off my skinny jeans every night. Plus, many psoriasis sufferers have scalp problems (still skin, lol) so short haircuts make treatments easier.
Absolutely there are many people who do benefit from guardianship. And you’re right, it could be that he has been doing what’s in her best interests. The Vegas residencies could have been a negotiation between them so that she can still perform as she likes but in a more stable way, as opposed to the way they are so…
It must be awful for her, and I’m glad she able to take the time to be with her family. I agree that they seem to be close, but I’m not sure how healthy it is—isn’t he still in complete legal control of her life and assets?
Absolutely. I remember reading an academic article about Victorian opposition to vaccines a couple of years ago. It really highlighted just how far we haven’t come in terms of our views of science.
OK, everyone should inoculate against measles. But seriously, people can easily get ear infections (mostly harmless) pneumonia (dangerous, but viral or bacterial and relatively easily treated) and meningitis (there is a vaccine, and also can be treated if caught early enough) through a variety of other ways and means.
Oh no, it is very Canadian, and specifically eastern Canadian which is what I was referencing. Give’er is, well, give her. Like give ‘er the gas. Or give ‘er as a way to say go get ‘em. As in, “you go give ‘er”! I hope that makes sense. As with any idiom, it’s difficult to describe, and probably ridiculous :)
Thank you, and not just because kinja sucks (it does).
Sorry, that’s a very regional thing. I hope it translated :)
Lol, possibilities to give’er! Open’er up!

I would loooove to drive that. In the summer at least, our winters would ruin it. Even on a track would be awesome!
I’m in the same boat. If I were her age (9? omg) I would love that my mom or dad was driving that. (However, I would love it more if it were the Hello Kitty car posted above by, I think, chocolatecookiesforbreakfast.)
That is sweeeeet!
Ironically, I think my fam was more ok with me being a witch than me being a PhD ;)
I am kinda ashamed to say that I didn’t realize it was interactive until about 1.5 hrs in. However, that means I have watched a ton of it, and can now fuck around with it already knowing some of the story!
Now that sounds like the optimum way to do this!
Hey, FYI, and speaking of money, the primary banner ad you have running in my browser right now is a fashion scam site— berrylook. Not cool!
Yeah, I don’t have kids, and I rent my apartment. But I have watched several friends buy homes and have kids. And while I always sympathetic (because owning a home and being a mom always brings unexpected craziness), I do have to wonder sometimes how you’re complaining about your busy day with a nanny and a…
Ugh, I have a PhD in the social sciences and my friends and family are constantly questioning my take on things. Like, but screen time for kids is bad! I’ve read studies! Or dudes are addicted to games and porn! I’ve read studies! OK, maybe you’ve read some abstracts which have been reported on in the mainstream…
