As good a fit as that is, I’d argue that what Bale will really be doing is reprising his role as Patrick Bateman.

I think ignoring Little Kimmy’s tantrums might be a good strategy. Unfortunately I doubt any of the village idiots currently ruining the country has the foresight to develop a strategy.
“Sadly part of Trump’s base laps about any kind of sh*t about Hillary because they hate her so much, and he and his dark lords know that as long as they feed the base some tasty lies that the base will not see when they screw the base.”
Yo - that is WAY too much book-larnin’ for her to get.
That is so interesting—-I have only the most basic understanding of the Fairness Doctrine (obviously), and was under the impression it was directly related to the rise of right-wing media after Reagan.
I’m not sure if its Jean Luc Picard or my own father or what, but nothing impresses me more than someone who can be that fucking measured and bad-ass at the same time. How do you do that? If I’m riled to such bad-assery, I can’t control myself enough not to yell and sound irate.
When will someone then say: “’Sad’? That’s the best you’ve got, ‘sad’????? A facist dictator who’s surrounded himself with sycophants and more racists is hell-bent on bringing this country to its knees under the guise of making it great again, and all you’ve got in response to anyone who opposes your point of view…
That and calling anyone who disagrees with them hysterical. It straight up gives me the vapors. It’s interesting seeing Koppel, long a terror of the smug, criminal, or dishonest, interacting with Hannity. I think Koppel was deliberately gentle here, as it makes Hannity look like even more of an ass. This is also a…
Well, this was pure pandering so...
But even if Fox News stops peddling right-wing delusions something identical will rise in its place. There’s money to be made hustling geezers and hawking boner pills, and hate never goes out of style, unfortunately.
This isn’t the first time I’ve loved and worshipped Koppel. The first time was during the 2008 election, when Koppel was asked “What do you think the election debate moderators SHOULD have asked the Republicans”? Koppel replied: “What was the biggest mistake George Bush made during his Presidency”? Ahh. Great man.
I find it kind of astounding just how much this government seems to detest its own people. It’s a level of disrespect and casual cruelty you rarely ever see in a developed nation.
I’m wanting to move to London where they ARE NOT AFRAID. America: a nation of very terrified, racist, fearful, privileged, white people. And those that are not white? Have reason to be afraid of the rest of us. Bleargh.
Well, that makes a lot of sense. . .IF the local meth/Oxy dealer was raised by hippies and named Isis, FFS. I guess they’ll say anything to avoid contemplating that life has become so grim for regular folks in this country they are stealing copper to survive. SMDH
Knives still don’t kill nearly the number of people guns do. I think the obsession with gun restrictions is well founded.
And if he manages to get two sentences out without using the words “losers” or any racial slurs, the press will fall all over themselves to call him presidential in the wake of tragedy.
