As a kid growing up in the 80's it always seemed to me that anything Japanese- whether it was a boom box, car, TV set or whatever was approximately 20 years into the future. My Mom had a 1985 Camry and the stereo in it was insane: 200 teeny little buttons and knobs, all of which made neat, satisfying little clicky

Apple is dying? They are the most valuable company in the world. They make more money now than they ever did under Jobs, and they have a far more diverse revenue stream. The have taken the lead in numerous industries that didn’t even exist when Jobs was still alive.

Wait...Apple did something innovative? They’ve always been behind their competitors; their major innovation was marketing. Musk’s actually exceeded Jobs’ in his ability to, like Erik said, advertise without actually advertising.

Nope - some PHEVs/Hybrids eat rotors because they’re barely used. Since regenerative braking does ~90% of braking, the rotors just rust through lack of use.

I’ve seen plenty of folks of all makes and models get duped into a brake job because they had mild pedal pulsing. The typical driver never gets their brakes hot enough to ever bed them in.
