Chris is identified as “Audi Mechanic” and Kate is identified as “Former Exec. Assistant For Dealership”. Based on the way she was looking at him I just assumed they were married or a couple in some kind of relationship.

Those two definitely have better chemistry than the guy who put the wrong fuel in his Audi and caused a fire!

Yea, I was picking up a vibe too. Or maybe they were just a little too close to each other to be strictly coworkers.

I couldn’t watch the video with sound and with no closed captioning made it useless for me except for one thing; I wish my wife looked at me like this woman looks at this guy telling the story.

Exactly. Here at work with no sound. Can someone give the written version?

Same. Let’s get a written copy, please.

In college, I went to my friend’s house to help him replace the timing belt on his beloved 1985 Civic. It’s a pretty straightforward but lengthy job. We collected the new belt and a few small new parts and placed them on the garage floor next to the car.

Seriously, how many of us are reading this at work and can’t take 5-10 minutes to watch a video? I almost exclusively read this site while I am at work.

I won’t spoil the story for you

Nah, they had an I4 back when it was the Celica-Supra; actually hearkens back to the day when the Celica competed directly with the 4-cyl Mustang. Better question is why they didn’t outfit it with a twin-turbo?

Thanks for validating this. Those sprayed rocker panels are a red flag the size of a city block. Sounds like that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Sadly, CP.

Its not quite a crack pipe, but the seller is asking about two grand too much.

Detroit cannot be beat. Sorry.

I lived in Detroit for 4 years, and although both Woodward and Gratiot were awesome, once I moved to LA, it completely blew Detroit out of the water. No one cruises sunset strip anymore, but seeing the cars cruising Angeles Crest on a weekend morning is a way cooler experience. Plus, everything is completely rust

San Francisco is neither in the Northwest nor “reasonably dry.” It is foggy and right next to the ocean; two things that don’t bode well for cars.

I live 1/4 mile off Woodward in the heart of it. On every Friday or Saturday evening I’ll see several McLarens, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Ford GTs, clean MKIV Supras, R32 skylines, Highly modded tuner cars like STIs, WRXs, Evos, FRS/BRZ/86s, GTIs/Golf Rs, Focus ST/RSs, Fiesta STs, tons of M cars, AMG cars, Maseratis,

San Francisco is the SW.

Detroit has the best car culture. This is a hill I’m willing to die on.

Northwest, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area
