19 year olds? I sold my 2011 WRX hatch that I bought new for $24k, for $22k after 3 years and 30x miles.

Guess how much it’s worth now, with about 90k miles...

$22k

The problem is the R35 GTR is mostly the same over its whole life. Sure its had improvements, styling changes, and noticeably more hp, but from 50 feet away they are essentially the same car.

I’m in the market for a GT-R ish car. The transmissions on the 12' and later cars are much better. The hidden costs of these cars is brake jobs. The OEM parts are $1400 a wheel.

The current frontier has basically been in production since 2005.

I’m sorry, but can we talk about the WRX at number 10?

Or take advantage of cars at the opposite end of spectrum.

The ol’ Yokohama Steamer. Always a classic.

Quick note on the GTR. Factory replacement parts for these cars are priced so far out into the stratosphere that will think you are buying Ferrari parts. Be real careful when eyeballing that $50K GTR.

Perfect consumer top tip.

“Honey, I know you were wanting a Subaru because of their decent resale value. BUT! Let me show you this handy chart from iSeeCars.com. The GTR will be much better bang for our buck.”

Former ‘12 370Z Nismo owner here.

It was my dream car. Drove hundreds of miles to see it at the Chicago Auto Show when they first were introduced. Bided my time and saved my sheckles so that when they dropped into my price range I could afford one. Finally found one in spring of 2017 in St. Louis that was in my range

The 370z is a pretty big upgrade over the 350z. More power, more torque, and less weight.

Nope.

So, other than the goofy price, can someone explain what’s so bad about the current 370Z?

As long as it has a CVT I’m in.

I’m very skeptical. Something doesn’t look right.

You know full well none will sell for 60

I’ve spec’d one out, will guaranteed git rid of the stock wheels. Here’s hoping UAW doesn’t strike anymore for a few years so I can get my savings up for a good down payment haha.

I’m very curious at how many of those $60k models will be in stock. The one Road and Track got was just under $90k and I feel like that will be closer to the average price of those than the $60k will be.

Japanese styling.  German reliability.  They got it backwards.
