Nice little car, interesting engine choice but nothing “wrong” with it, though I probably would’ve done something differently. The exposed wires under the dash look a little messy but can be cleaned up for what is otherwise a decent price.

I like this clean exterior design, even the interior looks nice besides the all digital gauges (but I can accept that in a modern luxury car I suppose).
Ah perfect, I was holding out for more gears. I mean, 7(!) just wasn’t enough for me.
I was so excited reading this because I don’t really have any F1 memorabilia in my home and I’d love to get this because I’d actually use it (I’ve already been through a few cheaper BT speakers). $2800 though? For real? My excitement has turned into very real rage.
Jesus christ 2400 euro? Unbelievable
Does a dual-mass flywheel work kind of like that? I know the Porsche Caymans have a DMF (and probably others as well)
I like this already. Nicely designed, good looking for a modern car to me. Plus, manual transmission available and 168hp out of a 2.0L is pretty great really, especially for “only” 3000 lbs or so (that’s light by modern standards).
Haha that was my first thought, why is her shadow blue? Probably this photo was horribly under exposed and they jacked up the shadows to get it to look okay. Highlights behind her head are blown out too which is similar evidence.
Granted a rental experience is pretty low standards already, but I rented a Renault Captur this year for a week in France. It was nice enough, though the clutch had the shorted travel and least feedback I’ve ever felt, and it sometimes did not like to go into reverse. You basically couldn’t stall the thing because it…
I remember when these used to be around $4-5k in good condition, and some still are at that price (but not with only 60k miles). Problem is, with a car this old, low mileage doesn’t really matter at all... it might be a bad thing actually, sitting for a long time letting rubber parts wear down from heat and…
Word of the day: Filial
Gotta put food on the table ya know, been there
Never touch another guy’s stick, especially in front of his wife!
I agree with you here, this conversation does look a little unprofessional to me, but I think the instant-message chat format is part of that as well. If it were a thread of emails, I’d imagine it would look a bit different, I hope.
Whew that is one skinny lady right there.
This was a tough one for me as well, I love FC RX-7's and have almost bought one a few times. This one seems well kept overall but that asking price is just a little too high, so I went CP.
I love TVR’s, wish they’d been able to bring over a few more to the US. I’d love to have a Griffith in any engine configuration (90s variant).
I think I’ve had to explain this to my girlfriend maybe a thousand times. I drive though tight, slow city traffic daily on my way to work (manual trans) and I’ll go down to first and just idle along with plenty of space in front. Usually, the car behind me understands what’s going on after the first minute or so, and…
One of the best strings of puns I’ve ever read, well done
Give me a year’s advance notice and bring that A110 to the US and I’ll buy one. If it has a manual I’ll buy it on launch day, but I’m so tempted by it I might even be happy with the auto (dual clutch, whatever).
