Power to weight isn’t everything in a car like this. You’ll be paying a premium for high-trim luxury interior features, suspension, brakes and the Supra name of course. No way would it be priced alongside a Mustang GT, though I wish it would be.

Those are great cars, but we’re talking about now. Every car you mention is at least a decade old or older for the newest model. The newest one is the 350z->370Z, which is still almost a decade old on that platform.

I would love that too, but too much crossover with the 86/FRS/BRZ I think.

I think they are using it to sell petrol powered cars to the “must have the latest and greatest” types, then after sales slow down, McClaren will turn around with “we’ve had an electric powerplant breakthrough! It is viable after all! check out this new model! Taking orders this week!”

We’re not married yet, so I guess I have some time to pull off some more deals haha. She also commented on the “douchey” Porsche, but I don’t see it that way. Most of the other Porsches I see are good drivers, probably because we care about the cars. The “douchey” drivers around me are usually big trucks because they

I just watch the highlight F1 videos on youtube after each race, all of the good stuff condensed into maybe 10 minutes, make it 20 minutes if you like to listen to the radio/drama/interviews/practice/qualifying stuff. Keeps it from getting boring, watching the full race

I’d love to see Hulk and the Renault team become a real competitor for Red Bull and maybe even catch Ferrari and Mercedes occasionally. I’m not necessarily a Renault fan either, but just like this article I’d love for some closer competition

For $290,000+, I’d much rather have 29 of these:

That’s impressive. I too got quite a bit of flak from my SO when trading in the Honda for the 987, but she has since grown to like it (especially because it’s much much smaller in the garage, easier to walk around). Her only complaint is that she doesn’t know how to drive it, and she’s afraid to learn (it’s the

Looks like a Coupe to me

I haven’t seen those before, though it makes sense that they exist. Looks pretty good actually, but I wonder what changes need to be made for the turn signal indicator to show to the front (or I guess just block those and only have the front side indicators?)

I’m really surprised, I too prefer the 996 pre-facelift headlights but I thought I was pretty alone in that. Lots of other comments with the same feeling here.

There is no 986 cayman, only boxsters. The 987 cayman shares a lot of interior bits with the 997 911.

My perfect 911 is the 993, because it has working AC and I would daily drive it. I actually don’t care that it’s air cooled either, I just really love the way it looks, especially up by the headlights... 959 esque.

Now playing

I’m a bit eccentric when it comes to music, I can appreciate almost any type of music so I usually just leave my music on shuffle (a few thousand songs), so I’ll get anything from 8-bit chiptunes, movie/game soundtrack music, classic rock, hip hop, metal, whatever is popular right now, etc etc

Probably too similar to the Lexus GS and IS sedans from around the same time, especially the later ones with the 2JZ engine in them anyway. Since the Chaser looks more plain, it would’ve been outsold on sportiness by the IS and outsold in luxury by the GS. That’s my guess anyway

I’m going CP because the price is too high honestly. I’d love to have one of these though... that AC issue is a problem for me in Florida though. I’d just budget for a full AC modernization, but that’s not cheap and really cuts into that asking price. This one looks to be nicely maintained and I like the color

I never really liked the egg headlight 996's and 986's, but they’ve grown on me. I actually prefer the earlier style with the yellow indicator part as well, instead of the facelift all clear ones. Maybe I’m a “Porsche Dork?”

Where I live, that’s like throwing somebody $10

It doesn’t have that cute fold-out trunk or pastel colors though
