What the actual fuck is that about

Maybe I’m just cynical, betrayed, or have a natural disdain for “sequels,” but I hate the look. This video doesn’t help my night terrors, it causes them.

I jumped over to craigslist to see what he had. First of all, he only has a few cars listed. Next, they are all ridiculously priced. “ran when parked” is on almost all of them, but how long have they been sitting?

Yeah, but you still have to show up to court to get the ticket knocked down. If you just pay it, you pay the full amount - if you show up, you can’t pay more than what it already was so you can’t lose... you only lose if you can’t show up (i.e. have a 9-5 day job you can’t leave to dispute a ticket)

I hope nobody wins and the Grummans all break down. That way I won’t get a mailbox full of BS spam garbage every day (all of my bills come electronically).

Great suggestion from Tom, pretty terrible suggestions from everyone else.

Wow Jason, thank you for that phrase. That is exactly what so many modern cars look like, and I can’t wait to use that line in my very next conversation with my non-car friends.

more like a Great Jaaerrrooorrbb!!

Haha thanks. I’m in my late 20s and do some marketing in my job so I think I know what people want, at least close to my age bracket.

VW won’t do it because the Audi brand is so big in the USA luxury scene, so if you want an Audi Avant with a manual, you pay full sticker in the $50k+ range (except for the A3 2.0T I guess).

Wow that’s almost half of the US price after adjusting for currency. I know it’s a different engine, but wow.

Someone played Test Drive II haha

Wheels, new clutch, “high flow” cats? This car has been beaten to shit. I’d pay $18k for a prime example maybe, but this thing is going to have some issues in the next 50k miles for sure.

I lived in Savannah throughout high school and went to Georgia Southern nearby. I never got in to the car scene because my parents were very protective and I didn’t have the money to buy my own car at the time. I do know that the hutchinson island track is still there, kind of, in poor condition.

It looks like a longer Infiniti J30, maybe half inspired by the early 90s Mazda 929. Not exactly the kind of car I’d point to as Nissan’s greatest though I do like their other cars from that era. I’d really like a low-power RWD coupe competitor so the BRZ/FRS/GT86 has some competition in that segment (because BRZ/86

I would love to hear more of this story!

Nice!

I adjust my side mirrors so that I can see the flared arches over my rear wheels without tilting my head because it makes me feel cool.

Absolutely. I looked at some of those too thinking they’d have depreciated by now (I remember lusting after them in high school, ten years ago now). Prices are sky high on any low mileage samples... my plan would be to daily drive it and apparently that was everyone else’s plan too. I’d love to have a pristine Evo of

I just traded in my new, reliable Honda Accord this weekend on a 2008 Porsche Cayman. I took it to my parents’ place and my dad took one look at it, immediately walked away spewing expletives and telling me I was going to go into debt repairing it. He’s since calmed down some, but despite explaining service records
