I posted this is in the initial AHCA post, but there were 600+ comments so I’m sure it got lost. I just wanted to share my experience today in DC because it was so utterly sickening:

I gotta say, the optics here are not good for the administration. It’s amazing how bad they are at presenting themselves as reasonable, non-corrupt people. Probably because the GOP and Republican voters love them no matter what.

I love Ms. April Ryan for countless reasons. One being her contributions of meme worthy facial expressions because this administration is nuts, and she’s not gonna let anyone tell her otherwise.

I’m so glad she’s been recognized! I never let Gwen Ifill know how much I appreciated her hard work; but I’m not making that mistake w/ Ms. Ryan or any outstanding female journalist again.

The budget was also seen as a victory for Democrats because it lacked nearly every cut Trump wanted to make—including the ones to Planned Parenthood, the NEA and Public Radio/Television. It’s a pretty sweet win for a supposedly weak and out of touch Party.

I know its supposed to be pronounced “fire”, but i keep reading it as “fry”. Then i get confused/hopeful that this was a french fry festival and wonder how they would fuck that up.
