Sorry, but you’re delusional. The 917’s (Le Mans spec, not the turbo Can-Am 917/30) engine made maybe 600-650 hp tops. Aerodynamics were in their infancy, and often actually created lift instead of downforce. The top Le Mans car today, the 919, has 900-ish hp and tons of downforce...
