Now is the time. Bring the warrior goddess. Let's give the super models a break.

He needs to show her Taken and explain that he could do 0% of everything Liam Neeson did. Then make her watch every episode of Law & Order SVU that has ever existed. THEN EXPLAIN TO HER THAT SHE ISN'T EVEN A DAMN TEENAGER AND SHE'S NOT A DAMN PRINCESS IN A DISNEY MOVIE SO NONE OF THIS SHIT IS OKAY.
oh.....Alex's dad looks like he's trying to put a good face on but Alex's mom looks pissed.
I don't see Alex going to the mall til she's about 16.
"The cab company is claiming Alexis had worn a lot of make up which made her look older, which is clearly a steaming crock of shit, but her parents are now pushing for laws that require taxi drivers to verify the age of young passengers traveling alone."
I frequently combine pain meds with muscle relaxers for my patients because they potentiate each other. It makes them comfortable. However, this is in patients who've taken both meds before. If this is your first time with either, be cautious.
Moscow mules are the best drink. That's a certainty.
I am so glad I don't have children. This girl is a thief who had no compunction about stealing form her elderly grandmother to go see and older boy she met in vacation, making her either extremely gullible to no think he would not want sex or she is well beyond any eleven year I know in sexual maturity.
Maybe have a rule for taking them across state lines? That seems more reasonable.
I also didn't have any form of photo ID until I got my learner's permit at 15. Seems a little ridiculous.
I did the grocery shopping and took a cab home from age 10 on. So cabs were the only reason I even had food to eat. My mother was too busy partying to worry about details like that, so she just gave me a grocery store card and a monthly tab at a cab service instead.
Shouldn't the title change from 'Relatable' to 'Idiotic child steals from family..."
Modern parenting requires that you blame everyone but yourselves.
Err... if I was a 16 year old boy and some 11 year old girl stole 10,000 dollars to come hundreds of miles to see me, the whole thing would still feel pretty goddamn creepy to me.
Your point precisely! I took a lot of cabs around when I was her age, with the full knowledge of my parents, so I could get to music lessons and the like while my parents were at work. And my biggest issue was that they always charged me the adult rate, not the 13 & under rate. But I had no ID to prove what age I was…
Young love and all that, blah blah blah, perfectly adorable. But taking $10,000 from your grandmother's sock drawer? That's fucked up. Someone teach that girl the value of a dollar. And maybe some self-defense lessons.
Alexis gave him about $1,300 upfront, and promised the rest when they got to Florida.
Or, more creepy. Depends how you look at it. She stole $10,000 and set out to see a boy she met when she was 9 yrs old. That girl has some cahones and she doesn't use them in the most productive manner.
According to the cops, the cab driver technically didn't break any laws because he did not seem to mean Alexis any harm though her parents are now pushing for laws that require taxi drivers to verify the age of young passengers traveling alone.
Dad's look says, "we had $10k just sitting around? Goddammit."
