Hear, hear. I started trying to get fancy with my lawn because my neighbor’s looks good. Screw that. Mow occassionally, weed and feed in the spring.

I live in chigger-country and appreciate being able to go outside my house without being eat up with bug bites. Also: snakes love high grass, so I’d also like to walk in my lawn without fear of stepping on one of those as well. Lastly, I like to actually go outside and do stuff and not have ass-high grass all around…

Yep, that was us. We had been living in Minneapolis. We bought a “Garage Condo” for our cars. But, it was a pain the ass to drive 45 minutes to work on a project. Or, if you were doing something at home, just to get a tool.

I honestly cannot see living in an HOA or COA unless it was a rental property. I can not stand having to ask permission to do what they I want on my property.
