I haven't watched in forever… But Malcolm seems to be on this season.

As a linguist my irritation is that language somehow stopped developing right at the dawn of the 21st century. The book actually does have some discussion of Belter linguistics, but the show mostly just seems to substitute what sounds like a quasi-South African accent for how the Belters talk.

We get it, you're young!

Should Batman vs. Superman ended with a group hug and everyone drinking at a bar?

Do you enjoy how much Supergirl hates Donald Trump?

Exactly. It would be far more honest (and more helpful to Amazon) to ask if you can find points of comparison between the pilot and your favorite TV show.

There all is aching?

Will DC ever make a movie as good as "Invasion!" on the WB?

Of course Jonah would volunteer to do that on Superstore.

Ahh… so you watched that classic "The Flash" porno.

Has being a Jehovah's Witness gotten in the way of watching that hot, hot gay porn?

Have you considered starting to?

Yep. Hence why Avasarala has to essentially scream him into submission. In Leviathan Wakes he caused Earth, Mars, and the Belt to go to war, killing who knows how many people. And at every step he was deeply resentful of Miller (the guy willing to do what was necessary),
Johnson (the guy trying to bring closure to his

Well the term "spaceship" dates back to 1880, decades before the invention of the airplane. And that's why all the navel terminology is applied to outer space in sci-fi, because the old sci-fi writers only ever had navel terminology to go on as they were writing before aerial combat in WWI, much less anything

Well linguistics changes fairly rapidly, the entire language of Afrikaans developed in about a century under far less demanding circumstances than would develop on a faraway planet colonized by a wide swath of language groups.

I thought those were supposed to instill discipline and increase unit cohesion?

It's never exactly clear (either in the show or in the books up to the point I have read) how united the United Nations are. The UN might have an army, an airforce, and a traditional navy. Those would still be practical things either on the presumption of defending Earth from outside attack, or for dealing with

If you have read my previous posts (not this week, but in previous weeks) I keep referring to Avasarala as "dirty as fuck." She was introduced torturing someone, she betrayed a close friend as a matter of espionage, we've seen her commit treason, she convinced Earth to hand over its nuclear weapons to a man of
