The problem is the Camaro hasn’t been a white trash car for some time. It’s too well sorted. It actually handles and puts the power down. It became a real darling of track rats because of how good the Alpha platform is. In short... it became an actual driving enthuisast’s car, and nothing kills a car faster than that.

It’s not really my thing…. but the Camaro was the best driving car of the muscle car trio. If only the view from the drivers seat wasn’t so “pillbox”, it may have been easier to live with.

I agree wholeheartedly. My wife and I are very well paid compared to the median where we live and, while I *could* manage $800+ a month for a car without much worry, I’d be wary of it.

I work with a lot of 20-30 year olds and some of the car loans they have taken in the last couple of decades just shocked the hell out of me. Not only were a couple of them more than my mortgage payment was, they apparently just paid sticker on the vehicle itself. That might be a common thing now, but years ago, it

Cars are not houses. They are VERY easy to repossess and resell, the amounts involved are relatively low, and there is a VERY clear and direct relationship between risk and the resulting interest rate. Though that said, I think that auto lenders probably should more frequently verify income. I have literally never

When you look at it as a whole between Rent, Grocery, and car notes, interest rates and general inflation is depressing. I got my condo at 29 last year as it just made much more sense to buy than to rent and I got a decent rate (well much better than now), but it’s still too high for what it is (California). But

Why didn’t they just sign up for auto pay and save .1% on the interest???

Right these are like 90's F-150 sized lol.

“90's Ranger-size” doesn’t seem to be an option

Oh for fuck’s sake.

It sucks that she was sex-shamed out of a job. However, I have a bit of a contention with her saying that she never said anything inappropriate, because (and maybe this makes me a prude) I don’t think it’s appropriate to talk about a partner’s body (ie, Bill Hader having a big dick) unless you explicitly have their

It’s worth pointing out that the initiative lost by 173,000 votes out of 942,000 cast. There was just no way a recount was ever going to swing that.

It’s going to be a completely Niche truck. It’s marketshare is more Lincoln Blackwood than anything else.

Elon Musk wants a lot of things.

The folks who market these trucks know that 50% of truck buyers believe they are in the 2% who do hard-core offroading. It sells.

I have had beater sedans that have seen more off-road, hauling, and towing than most of these pavement princess trucks.

Love it, but the Raptor is just too much for me I want something less. Like maybe they could lower it, put back the turbo 4, shorten the bed and add a integrated canopy. Make is smaller overall, add a manual and start it at $27500. They could name it “Ford Focus ST”.

The ultimate Ranger already exists.

$57k? Amazing what people will pay to drive around the mall.

Your first mistake might have been to go right to the Internet for a first-time purchase. A knowledgeable expert at an appliance store would have asked questions about your laundry space, current unit, needs, etc. and saved you some hassle, whether or not you purchased from them.
