Tesla is a tech company, not an automobile manufacturer. That’s why they suck at assembling cars. Elon cares more about FSD than panel gaps, windshields that don’t fly away mid-flight, paint matching, etc.

I’m not sure $15/hr is going to keep people in the kitchen. McD’s and other places around me here in flyover country are advertising $14/hr and are still short staffed.

While Hellinois doesn’t charge personal property tax, annual registrations on that motor pool will cost around $2000 yearly.

It kinda depends on the vehicle. I wouldn’t think twice about an 84 month loan for a full size body-on-frame vehicle like a Silverado or Tahoe. They are built like tanks and last forever. On the other hand, I wouldn’t even think about a loan that long for a econo-car or lower spec crossover.
