Yes it is, albeit with some changes (I'm guessing turbo, exhaust manifolds, ancillaries), a different state of tune (275hp) and with a different shift calibration (RWD only).

I don't think they are beatiful as a whole cars but they have such interesting details. And it is all functional!
Really? I find it interesting, in a smooth eggshaped '90s way.
That exhaust manifold... I'd hang it on my wall as an art piece!
I would say it's hung like a bull (Toro rosso is the italian translation for Red Bull)
Since '00s Fiat has been in bed with (and I am sure I forgot something)
It looks frightened!
It had an interesting gestation: the project started in the early 'oos when Suzuki was owned by GM and Fiat was a GM ally.
Fiat was busy participating in IRC with a Punto Abarth S2000 so no Sedicy Rally.
you would be surprised to hear that the Suzuki sx4 was jointly developed with Fiat:
Small, cheap, cheerful and very reliable (yes, it is).
Well it is always a matter of taste, isn't it?
at least it hasn't got too many angles and shapes (lexus i'm looking at you!)
F1 look a like. I don't like it.
bloody ugly.
It's a Vauxhall\Opel Vectra vs Ford Mondeo (driven by F1 champ Mansell!) British touring car championship late '90s.
Daewoo Nubira
speaking of aesthetics who thought that putting a red\violet interior in a green car was a good idea?!? #colorblind
That automatic is awful: the 6sp geartronic it is at least two generation behind what other manufacturers offer (DSG, ZF8hp).
Thank you. What I'm trying to say is that in EU there is a growing trend for car's ownership costs. This makes having a car related hobby a lot more expensive. That's why the proportion of "recreational vehicles" sold (i.e. cars bought for fun) is steadily declining.
