Things aren't going so well here in the EU: taxation (which you omitted, are there any form of car taxes in the US? It's a genuine question I have no idea) has increased a lot as fuel price did.

This doesn't invalidate my two argument: rising fuel prices and taxations. People who were shopping in Miata's market position can't afford it anymore, even accounting for inflation.
Driving is getting more expensive. Just look at fuel prices, taxation and cars prices.
This means it is more difficult to be a petrolhead -> less sports cars sales compared to "white goods" cars sales, i.e. cars that are used for work related activities\commuting (trucks vans suvs etc.)
Lol
More awfully watermarked photos:
Funny coincidence: on 2005/6 Alfa Romeo was running 159 GTA prototypes that used a twin turbocharged version of this 3.2 Holden\GM motors.
Wrong premises: being able to stop and to turn is way more important for safety than accelerating. Having winter tires means you have grip in all these 3 occasions, where all wheel drive only helps when you accelerate and partially when you turn.
This is how Scuderia Ferrari works. He knows it and, a part from DE 2010 he performed really poor even accounting for a non competitive car.
Here in EU is the Yaris.
Reliable, not so expensive but really really dull.
There are other car in the same segment that are way more fun to drive (Fiesta, Mini) more practical (Jazz) or more posh (A1, Mini) .
Performance wise Ferrari should have ditched him after the accident.
Instead they choose to stick with him in order to give him a chance to come back. I think this should be recognized.
If the P1 is slower it could be because of its extreme aerodynamic.
In order to exploit down-force it needs to be very close to the tarmac (look at how low it sits in race mode) and that can be achieved on smooth surface only: the Nuerburgring it's all but a smooth racetrack.
And this could be affect its real world…
Two dudes? They produce one of the most entertaining auto show!
Go check them on youtube.com\mightycarmods if you haven't done so yet.
Lol @ A1 autostrada. It's full of speed cameras and there is a system that keep trace of your average speed and send you fines if you exceed the speed limit. You cannot go as fast as you want like in the good old days.
And yet it isn't.
According to the Pistonhead's review the 660cc turbocharged in-line 3 has a narrow power band and a non linear throttle response. Exactly what spoils the Se7ens' equilibrium and delicacy.
I think that P1 will smash that time. Is hundreds of pounds lighter and > 100hp more powerful.
LaFerrari will be faster than the 918 but not by that much. I don't think that Ferrari will ever post any Nuerburgring time.
BTW Nuerbergring times = measuring how long your dick is. Pretty sad & useless.
Which one did sound best? Which one did it put a smile on your face? Which one will you DD?
The Evoque with the zf 9speed (2014 my - Euro classification) has been launched at Frankfurt. So, I don't think it's already available.
I think it's not yet on sale. Autojurnos tested it on a Evoque prototype.
Nice white socks
No you don't. Look at the average rate of taxation.
At least you don't have to pay over 9$ for a gallon of gas.
