I’ve only played a few hours of the first game, and was bored to tears because it just... wasn’t scary at all? It doesn’t help that you’re basically immortal (and “dying” just makes the game easier)

Your “intended method” doesn’t seem any more or less intuitive than the other videos you showed
but how does banging dudes on grindr make someone's dad look like Anakin? Unless maybe they're banging dudes that look like Obi Wan?
I don’t understand the Anakin Skywalker “burn?”
On your last point, I like having the option to play updated versions of the games, as well as the original.
As is the case with every Resident Evil remake so far; both versions of each game have their merits and reasons to play them. The remakes have not become definitive versions of each game, just alternate…
There's one labelled "courage to fall" or something like that, and it's the most BS description ever and does not give you any notion as to what to do
You’ll mostly only have to farm for end / post game completion type stuff. OR if you’re trying to rush thru certain parts and you need a set amount of items.
this is baseball not pinball, and the solution was the easy part, the timing and aim the only possible tricky parts.
How was I supposed to know to click that empty wall for a sidequest :/
Almost every cave has a blupee in front of the entrance. They also run away TO the cave entrance when you shoot them. It’s one way to help you find a cave.
So, yes, Satori points you to caves... but I don’t know whether he points to the caves that don’t have blupees, but there aren’t many of those at all so I dunno.
I thought the concept looked really fun /shrug
I really enjoy Twin Snakes and the original both for their own merits, and I think they are both worth playing. But any time I revisit MGS1 it's usually gonna be Twin Snakes because it's a smoother experience.
Ugh I dunno. I got every emblem in that game long before they patched trophies into the game, and I couldn't bring myself to earn them all again. The game does deserve another replay soon, I just played thru it too many times back then
I was already hardly ever buying games brand new at $60, so the number I buy new is just gonna drop with the $70 price tag
huh? it shows coordinates on the compass
the GBA games have more features and content, and are (overall) the better versions of the games, but the originals definitely have their merit as well. it mostly boils down to preference.
It's not fixed at all, it's the same shit just with a new wrapper
I mean, I don't think it's a 10/10 (I didn't like botw, for reference), but I don't have an issue with any of the things you mentioned?
the biggest issue is you can lock yourself into areas pretty badly if you’re goofing off too much
Honestly BotW was the same way. You're meant to experiment, OR find some slight explanations later. You're not gonna immediately know what every item you find is good for. And most items have multiple uses you figure out as you progress.
