If you haven’t played either then honestly, just skip botw and play Tears. It’s the same game, but with a lot (A LOT) more stuff going on, and nothing about BotW’s plot is anything spectacular. 

Age of Calamity was a different timeline tho. Altho now, it's more of a paradox because of Tear's plot

the DLC didnt add that much to the plot. Champions Ballad gave some more background to the long-dead champions, but nothing important

“Attack Lynels” Yeah just gonna ignore that advice.  Even fully powered in BotW, Lynel’s were a huge pain and I’d rather avoid them most times

There’s really nothing redeeming about Twilight Princess. The story, the gameplay, the design (aesthetic).

BotW is objectively a good game, it just didn’t feel like a Zelda game at all, and I’ve never been big on open-world games, especially when they’re so empty and lifeless for large swaths of the map.

Twilight Princess is a 1/10

Botw was a 6/10

unlike swapping my ps4 to a ps5, I currently have no reason to swap my xbox one for a series x.

I only have an xbox one for a very small handful of console exclusives, and it’s a console I practically never touch.
If series x ever actually has console exclusives worth getting (that aren’t on xbox one), I’ll get one…

The game's Peter Parker also crossed into the Spidergeddon storyline. It didn't have a large impact on the game's universe, EXCEPT for introducing Tarantula into said universe.

That one is at least better than Twilight Princess

I mean, it was basically just Pokemon Stadium 3. Those games are fan-favorites, I don’t understand why this one was snubbed.

I got to a point where I just upgraded my Master Sword thru the trials, EXCLUSIVELY used the sword, and when it would "break" I would just take a break from the game until it recharged

I dumped a few hundred hours into BotW and I never stopped hating the weapon degradation.

None of their games are even that good. Even the handful of games I enjoy from them... aren’t that good.
