Gary Busey? Hah, I knew I saw a fight like this back in the '80s between Mel Gibson and Gary Busey. Rick and Pete have a similar size differential.

Ghost Merle: Good job Nicholas pinning that clusterfuck on Glenn. Those Orientals are fucking devious anyway. I'm sure the rest of the gang will be on your side.

Seer: If you knew what the Gods have in store for you, you would be dancing naked on the beach. Is Rollo the same Norseman who is the ancestor of the Dukes of Normandy? If that's the case, then the seer's comment makes sense. The French Normans become a big force in European history in that they dominate England

Question that Oliver forgot to ask: If you guys are the League of Assassins, where is the hashish? Isn't that what you guys take to handle the post traumatic stress? By the way, the word assassin comes from hashish.

The part where Lagertha tells Eckbert that she thinks he's the kind of guy who only thinks about himself made me laugh. It's cool/strange/unfair? how some women are able to judge a man by how he treats her when they are having sex. I guess Eckbert isn't that smooth an operator after all, or maybe it was a loophole

I enjoyed this episode and felt bad for Jimmy/Saul. As much as I like Kim the character, I still need to understand why Jimmy and Kim are friends. There's some filling in that needs to be made. They go see movies and hang out, but why isn't it romantic? She obviously likes him, but why is he friend-zoned?

I was thinking more like a Mrs. Doubtfire accent..

There was lots of foreboding on that bench under that wanted poster wall. We have Jimmy, Mike, and that older detective sitting there facing the same direction as those pictures.

Yeah Deanna does seem to embody what Quark would call have that Federation's sweet, cloying quality which he compared to the taste of root beer. http://youtu.be/4hdiuRMK3UQ

Hate watching mode: OFF

I guess it may be too much to hope for multiculturalism in the Dark Ages. The Viking ceremony at the end has set up a clash of cultures for sure. It's too bad they just can't have Floki and the Christian priests have a rap battle to settle the conflict. I'm holding out hope that Ragnar finds a way to stabilize

It was a great way to vent after losing his buddy Torstein, seeing his son's girlfriend get injured, and getting bitched at by Floki.

But why do the three women have the same dream about Harbard? He's no ordinary grifter, and I doubt that he has anything to do with the dead boys. He may not be Thor, but it's likely he is something else…

Yeah, it is kind of a strange thing when the object of Judith's lust is also her confessor. Athelstan has incredible will power to not take advantage of her.

Ecbert is one smooth operator! His timing and seductive powers are so slick that by the time he brings the plow, Lagertha is amused by the double meanings instead of turned off. I can't help but like Ecbert for his cunning.

Back in my teenage years my hormones got the better of me when I opened the door to the Jehovah's Witnesses when one of the JWs was an extremely attractive teenage girl. I don't remember what we spoke about, but I have a strange Fellini-esqe memory of the encounter. That girl's face was mesmirizing.

I hope it's not too late. I think for the sake of keeping the chemistry between Crane and Abbie, they should have killed Katrina off in the first season! This course correction was long overdue.

For me Dale's aura seems to be extending into other shows. I've been watching Being Human(US) and whenever I see an RV in that show, I get the feeling that the writers are trying to invoke Dale's wisdom, fishing hat, eyebrows, or something…

Yeah, but that's crazy to look for his partner in the middle of a walker stampede while still tied up!

Oops, can't believe I missed this one. Hate Watching #4. Aaron refusing the to eat the applesauce, nearly at gunpoint. I guess my senses are clouded by the fact that my daughter is a picky eater, so it seemed plausible to me that he wouldn't eat the applesauce, even when his life depended on it. Picky eaters are
