nah, this dude is pretty much exactly right. once you choose to wear a Hot Topic shirt because it does a better job of explaining your politics than you do, you’ve basically admitted that you don’t really know shit.
Using your own logic, why are you talking about this at all then? You’re not Kap or Peter King so you don’t understand, so your opinion is as worthless as King’s.
what doesn’t he understand, exactly?
As a human being, he has that right you mean. What are you, 22 years old?
not really a typo, just straight up didn’t know what game it was.
It’s crazy that the people writing these articles act like they know better than the manager, when half the time, they get basic things wrong like what the score was and how many outs there were.
Nobody at Deadspin has any clue about baseball. Or apparently about factual reporting. Their postseason articles have been atrociously bad.
Two things:
a lot of that blame should be on terrible articles like this one. holy shit.
“to be saddled with this derisive narrative”
Do they pass out the tight black pants / black boots uniform to 20-something women when they move to NYC?
I think the bigger question is: why don’t tennis players wear gloves like baseball players do?
This is why the playoffs are dumb in general, despite their drama. I get the playoffs if it’s an 80-game season. But 162 games? You got the best record in your league? You’re the best team. You’re the champ. End of story.
Ya, this article is butt, as they say in Deadspin parlance.
oh yeah? you try living in SF as a Dodgers fan. fuck the Giants and their fans, old and new alike.
nor did Zobrist hit a two-run double.
When the lights go down in The City, indeed.
just get the fuck rid of replay. it’s a game. nobody’s dying if a call is wrong. let them play and enough with the pointless, boring delays.
You could also look at this the exact opposite way: Bernie could very well have lost to Trump, the most dangerous presidential candidate we’ve ever seen. Bernie’s campaign was dysfunctional and strange. Who knows whether or not it would have been able to deal with Trump.
